Ok so I know what kicks feel like now and I get them quite often from both of the boys...Last I check they were positioned bunk bed style one up by my ribs and the other in my lower tummy...From the kicks It seems they are still in those spots.. Well The baby on the bottom feels like he has gotten even lower and I feel kicks in my lower tummy but also down there (if you know what I mean) am I going crazy it feels like he is trying to stick his foot out LOL but I am kinda freaked out by it! At first I thought it was my imagination, but after quite a few of those I know I am not crazy..anyone else experience this???Also around the same time as these kicks started I began feeling quite a bit of pain; not where the babies are but in my pelvic area and hips and inside thighs I can not walk I feel like I am gonna fall and it has brought me to tears twice I am going to talk to the doctor on Tues, but I am worried it is never going to go away I just cant work like this.. Should I ask to be taken off?? If anyone else went through this did it go away??

for a while, i had those kicks in my cervix and it felt really weird, then baby b turned and i only felt headbutts from then on... lol. and the pain in the groin and thighs, i had that starting about 30 weeks and it only got progressively worse. i think it's the pelvic bones separating in preparation for eventual delivery. by 34 weeks, i had such a hard time standing up and walking. just raising either one of my legs or lifting my legs in bed was miserable. but i can testify that as soon as you deliver, the pain is gone! ;)

My baby A was breech and she kicked me in the cervix frequently in the 2nd tri but by the 3rd she had moved a bit and the kicks stopped being quite so low, the MD assured me that she could not "kick her way out" - I asked.

I had severe pain in my right groin and also groin numbness that I went to see a neurologist about. The severe pain came on one day after walking in walmart and standing in line and then all of a sudden I could hardly stand, I almost didn't make it to the car. The pain lasted a few weeks and it would get so bad after walking just around the house that I would have to lay down every 5 minutes to make it go away. BUT, there's hope, just as suddenly as the pain started it one day dissappeared..... you just never know, so hang in there!!

I definitely get those kicks and head butts in the cervix. Owww! Also some pelvic pain although mine has not been completely debilitating. Sometimes it's better than others, though, so don't just assume it's going to keep getting worse. Maybe your doctor can help you find some exercises or positions to help.

I too have a low lying baby and he kicks my cervix often and it kinda stings and hurts, lol. I have been reassured that this is ok and even normal...its just how they are positioned.
I've had a lot of pain in my pubic bone too...I've heard this is very common. Rolling over in bed is the worst and lifting one leg is killer as well. Your not alone!!

Oh yes that is so me!! I told the Peri it feels like they are trying to kick there way out. He says he hears that alot, its just the positioning of the babies. As far as the Pain. My Peri did tell me it was SPD and that its normal. Really nothing they can do about it. If it gets too severe he would put me in a wheel chair. He did give me meds to try and cope with it. It has helped but it is still very painful. Hang in there!!

i spent an entire pregnancy with my daughter feeling like she was coming out. she was just really low and kicking me in very inappropriate places :). this time around that feeling comes and goes. pple on the street try to hold up my belly since i am so low. at this point baby A's head is so far down that he practically is out!! seriously though, it's painful and i hear ya. hopefully the babies will change position and it won't feel like that. there is a belly brace that is specifically designed for that feeling.

i cannot promise that it works as i haven't tried it but check out the different products from this company. one might be perfect for you.

now, for the groin pain. VERY common and excruciating. i literally had to switch sides of the bed with my husband because i cannot get off and on the bed on "my" side due to this groin pain. mine was really bad at 25 weeks adn then went away for a while, switched to be sciatica for a little bit, then both sciatica and groin and then the sciatica subsided a bit and the groin pain came back with a vengeance. i'm not sure that there is much you can really do about. to quote my doctor when i asked - give birth. one of these prenatal cradle supports might be helpful in this department as well.

good luck! try not to overdue it. i did find that resting a lot helped a bunch of this pain subside (especiallly the leg pain)

This sounds like it could be your baby(s) sitting on your psyatic nerve. This happened to me ALOT during my last month with Grant! I would be walking along just fine then all of a sudden I was in pain (in the groin area...right where the leg and body meet) and would feel like I was goign to fall to my knees. Sometimes I did fall. The Dr said this was normal and that all I could do was try to push him over...but that didn't work...the little booger kept moving back over and sitting on that same side!! :D I just got to where if I needed to walk a ways (like in Wal-Mart) I would ride around in one of those electric carts.

I am in my 28 weeks so i do have another 10 weeks to go!!!!!
I just don't know i will manage , till then!!!

Good luck to all and happy and safe pregnancy!

I felt like I was being stabbed down there for most of my pregnancy with the girls and esp closer to the end, I just knew Addison was going to stick her foot out - it was uncomfy but she stayed in and I just managed - it only went away after the birth - sorry I couldn't be more help!

Google "symphysis pubis dysfunction" and see if that fits what you are feeling. I read the description and had every one of the symptoms. It did get worse as I got bigger, and the dr said there was nothing specific to do (although I've heard that some benefitted from a brace of some kind), but the pain went away as soon as I gave birth. When I got home at 5 days pp I could walk up the stairs so much easier than could the day we left for the hospital. This was a big reason why I wanted to go out on leave at 28 weeks, and luckily my short-term disability automatically approved twin pregnancies at 28 weeks. Good luck and hope you feel better!

I read the symptoms and they describe what I feel completely.. thank you I have decided the best thing for me was to ask the doctor to take me off work SO I will be turning in my paper work tomorrow...Good to know the pain goes away..I do not even remember what it feels like to feel normal anymore

Hope you feel better. My daughter (A) lays low like that. She is curled in a ball with her extremities facing downward toward my undercarriage. LOL I get kicked, punched and pushed down there all the time too. Quite the STRANGE feeling. LOL
Good luck with it. Thankfully it won't be TOO MUCH longer for you! Hang in there.

It's funny that you mention that. I've been feeling little sharp pains [down there] off an on for the past ten wks or so. I told the doc it felt like they were scratching or biting me [or trying to stick her hand out]. Their position is vertex/vertex. The doc just laughed at me. It catches me off gaurd, but only lasts a few seconds at a time. I try to just ignore it, cause it seems like it's not doing any harm to me and/or the babies. I'm still not sure what it is though
