twinskin question

some people have said that they've gotten 'twinskin.'
do you think that because i've gained a lot of weight that i am doomed for it?

does the amount of pounds you have gained have anything to do with this?

 

I don't think amount of weight, just how much you stretch & how you carry them. I only gained 30lbs with my twins (less that what I gained with my son) but I carried it all out front. So yes, I have twin skin...I'm hoping it gets better. My stretch marks from my 1st pregnancy faded by about a year...we'll see how long this takes...

i am huge and all in front. does that mean i'll get twinskin?

 

I agree, I think it's all in your skin stretching. I'm sure weight may play a small point, but you tummy has to stretch a lot for twins. I don't think there is anyway to know for sure that you'll get twinskin until after you deliver and see how things go after that.

 

i think it just depends on your own skin and how big the babies are and their positioning.
I have it a little bit but really nothing too bad. It did get better with time.
