How was it when your twins got their first teeth? Did they bite each other? Is there a remedy to stop them from biting? All twins with 1st teeth stories welcomed.

My DS had more discomfort with the first teeth then my DD did. Neither one of them attempted biting with their first teeth...I would say that did not start until about 15-16 months and they had all of their teeth except for the eye teeth and two year molars. I noticed the biting started when the eye teeth were coming in, it seemed like that was their method to relieve pressure.

Lol...mine are teething right now and they do not have teth yet, but theychew on each other arms, hands,face...to relieve themselves..they use each other as a teether...and I notice how they hit at each other, stratch each other, and pull hair, kick and all other sorts of ruff stuff (maybe its a boy thing)I know that they love each other maybe this is play...It just made my husband and I wonder what will happen when the teeth is here.Lol....Boy oh boy!

My two were older when the biting started too. I think maybe between 10 months & a year. Luke was my biter & Lila got the worst of it although he also bit me quite often. Hopefully, you won't have biters, none of my older kids bit as babies. But, if you do, it's just like any other unwanted behavior, firm no's & redirecting usually solve the problem over time.

Mine don't bite each other, but I wish there was a way to get them to stop biting me! They like to chew on my shoulder or arm ...

Ryan used to bite Jake's arm at around 10 months. He was getting 4 teeth in at once! We did timeouts in the Pack N Play. It was usually only for a few seconds (enough to calm the bit child) then we made them say they were sorry and engaged them in separate activities.

DS is a biter. Mostly just bites me, but got his sister pretty good the other day. We do 1 minute time outs in the crib.
