Are there any slings out there that hold twins, Im thinking something with a soft material. My.mom got me two baby carriers but they're not the kind im thinking of, im wanting a sling, obviously I know they make them for singles but I dont know if there is anything for twins.

    Any help would be appreciated!

You can carry newborn twins in the Moby wrap - the instructions are on their website. When your twins are older you can use two Mei Tai or two woven wraps to carry one on your front & one on your back. I put both my girls in a ring sling for the first couple of months. Is that more what you meant?

    Here's a ring sling: http://www.google.ca/search?q=ring+sling&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari#miuv=0

With a newborn, you keep them much closer & tighter to your chest. You can also use a standard woven wrap to make a ring sling (there's a special knot you can use) or you can just purchase your own ring & weave the fabric through it. If you google woven wraps you'll find all kinds of different ways to use then & tie them. They're very versatile. Ring slings are nice because they're usually quite quick. They're also helpful when you have a toddler who can't decide if they want up or down. ;)

From peppermint.com there are these instructions. This is the same wrap I used.

Once you do it, you should make us a video!

Seriously next paycheck I'm getting one!!! And I could do that, I'll look like a total geek but oh well! I had to do mock advertisements in college for advertising (my major) I hated seeing myself on tv ... Total geek! Lol

Hehe, I just carried both my twins for the first time this weekend. One in an Ergo on my back and one in my ring sling on the front. :)

I wore one or the other a lot when they were newborns, but never at the same time. I usually wore one and if they both needed to be held, someone got carried in the football hold.

Good luck! Take a picture if you get it done.

My girls were never good at going in the Moby wrap together (more their personalities than anything else - Livie does NOT like to share attention). But in situations where I really needed to hold them both, I liked having one in the Moby and one carried because then I felt less like I was juggling.

You can also use a long cloth wrap and carry them both in the hip carrier using a X carry tie. It does take a bit of practice to tie and tighten the wrap, and the babies need to have good head control.
