Hello. I have a question about your twins sleeping in the same crib I need some suggestions as to how you lay them in there whether it be feet touching..heads touching or how you do it. My twins are going to be 5 months on 02/05 and they have been sleeping in their bassinets since they came home from the hospital. I think they are getting to big for them and think that it is time for them to go into the crib. The only thing is I only have one crib up at this time and would like for them to sleep together if possible. Also I wanted to know if your twins were seperated for this long are they going to like sleeping together? Thanks.

Our twins moved from the bassinet to the same crib at 3 months. We lay them side by side in sleep positioners across the width of the crib. Just last week, we put up the other crib and they were separated, since they look a little cramped (especially in the positioners). Without them, however, I think they would be knocking into one another. They had no issues moving to separate cribs, though they are usually asleep when we put them in the cribs.

We lay the girls together side by side head to toe, but their legs are beside each other and heads and hands are out of reach from each other. The girls move their arms alot when they were sleeping and would wake each other up.

we lay one with her head in one corner kinda diagnal (sp?) and the other one with her head in the opposite corner diagnal too.

We do the same thing that LNC20 does, lay the babies diagnally in opposite corners, so they form a "V" of if you were to look at them.

Ours have slept in the same crib since two days after they were home from the hospital. We tried the PNP in our room, but this never worked for us. Since we swaddle them, they don't seem to bother each other much. Sometimes, when one "breaks loose" of the swaddle, they can disturb the other.

We use a crib wedge since both have reflux so we lay them side by side, heads both on the wedge. We're thinking about putting up the 2nd crib, though, since it's getting a bit tight.

    Good luck!

My daughters slept in the same crib up until a week ago and they are 10 months old. I would just put one on one end, and the other on the other end. By the end of the night they were usually right on top of each other! They do seem to sleep better now that they are in their own cribs.
