TWINS! just found out

    HI all, I am brand new to this board, Just yesterday, we had our 1st ultrasound and found out we're expecting twins! Exciting! Both my husband and I had a really good idea that we would be having twins, we went through IVF and implatnted 2 of our embryos..so when we got the news yesterday, we were actually more relieved than anything. Now that we know, I am in my planning, researching, and wanting to know everything mode. I would love to start some discussions about how we are all feeling, how those who are further along are setting things up, fears, exctiments...just about anything! I'm the only one of my group of friends that is expecting twins, so I thought it would be nice to talk to others in the same situation.

    Hi Michelle,

    Congratulations on your twins and Welcome to Twinstuff, it's a great website! Our twins were conceived via IVF also and just like you, being that we implanted 2 embryos, we were hoping they would be twins so we were very excited when we found out also. At times it's scary to think about going from 0 to 2 though :). Good luck with everything and I hope your morning sickness won't be too bad :) and your pregnancy will be an easy one.

    Awesome news!!! I remember finding out that we were having twins just like it were yesterday...its an awesome experience! Congrats!

    Welcome. I just did IVF as well and will be 8 weeks tomorrow. It is a great road, but a difficult one. It can be done, but it is not like a single pregnancy that is for sure. Stick around and you will know what you need to be prepared for.

    Hi all, Wow, thank you all for the well wishes and the congratulations...it's pretty exciting. So now that the news has been sinking in a bit more, and the twin idea is getting more and more real...is it normal to be 7 weeks and already showing a bit? Like I said in my 1st post my husband and I went through IVF and I am still on 2 differnt types of medication, so I am not sure that the meds are making be extremely bloated or I am in fact beginning to show...none of my pants fit and it's really awkward because I am still small for maternity clothes..hummmm?? I love to get feedback.

    I have so many questions, but I am trying to take one thing at a time :) I'm still really early in the process :)
