I was waiting on line at the cash registered at Macys and before there was a lady asking me for advice for her
twins grandchildre clothing, I told her I had tiwns also, when the lady behind me said her daughter had
    twins too :)
Tiwns is the new thing! Ofcourse, they all ask if it was IVF (one of them gave me the entire story...the cash register was slow)
, mine were actually clomid, but then I found
out my great grandmother had twins, so not I just say it does run in the family :)

Yep...I'm finding the same thing. We just moved and it turns out our nextdoor neighbours have 6 year old twin boys. Funny, eh?

Everytime I talk to my mom she tells me about all the twin grandmothers and babies she has met. Even the hostess at IHOP was a twin! :) So far I've met two other sets in our neighborhood of 200 and I've only met about 10 families. Twins will be taking over the world one day!

I think that too, but it reminds me of when you get a new car. You don't see them before hand, but the minute you drive off the lot it seems like everyone has the same car you do.

I do think it does have to do with so many people turning to fertility treatments, like we did. I am thankful for our IVF help and am proud to be a member of the twin club.

It seems like everytime I go out someone comes up to me and says they have twins, or know twins or twins are in their family, etc.

I've been hearing it my whole life, being a twin myself, but it's really kinda neat having babies that are twins--the focus is on them rather than me!!! :D

Yeah you can't even read a magazine without seeing a new celebrity couple having twins too.

Yep, there are lots of twins these days. In our playbabies class, there are 10 or so babies. There are two sets of twins in there.

First, I wanted to tell you congrats on the twins! I didn't realize you had them yet, I'll have to look for your birth story.

Back to your original posting, you are so right! Now that I have twins, I look for them everywhere. Plus people stop me all the time when I'm out with my twins to tell me about the twins they know. I never noticed how many there really are!

That is so true! I never noticed how many twins there were before, nor did I know how much trouble I would have trying to get into someone else's car (why won't the darn doors unlock!?!?). :)

    adding on...
I was on my way back from the doctors and stopped by the dry cleaners, when another couple in the parking lot kept
giving us smiles and thumbs up when they saw the twins car seats...then I looked at thier car, a set of twins was
    getting out :)

There are 4 sets ranging in age from 11 months, mine, to 15 years on my street and it is only 2/3 full, we live in a new development. Then there are another set on the next street over. I see a set everywhere I go it seems.
