Twins Birth Weight

Is there a difference in the birth weight of fraternal twins, identical twins and twins conceived with infertility help? I'm curious to know this. I'm not sure yet if mine are identical or fraternal (they were conceived naturally). Or does it make a difference at all.

I have identicals (fertility- IVF) that were in two separate sacks.

Their weights were 6.6 (baby B) and 7.7 (baby A).

Born- 38 wks 2 days

 

My twins are fraternal and via IVF.
Baby A (Rea) was 5lb10oz
Baby B (J) was 5lbs7oz

 

My twins were born at 34 weeks. They are fraternal boy/girl twins

Twin A (BOY) weighed 5lbs. 4oz.
Twin B (GIRL) weighed 5 lbs. 5oz.

Only 1 oz. difference. they were conceived naturally with no fertlity help

I have Fraternal Twins concieved w/out assistance (well... unless you count my husband! and God of course) Anyway, they were born @ 37 weeks 5 days and weighed 6 lbs 10 ozs and 7 lbs 13 ozs...

 

I have fraternal twins - both girls

My twins were born last week... we're still not sure if they're frat or ID yet, but they do look more different by the day.

They were born at 37w4d - Baby A weighed 6.2, Baby B weighed 5.12.

 

Mine were conceived with the help of hubby . 35w 1d , frat b/g , Boy 5 lbs 14oz and girl 5lbs 7 oz

 

Conceived naturally, fraternal (b/g) twins, born at 38w2d, weighing 7lbs11oz and 7lbs10oz and both 20 inches tall.

My nuggets were spontaneous ID twins, and I delivered at 37 weeks 1 day.

Connor was 5 pounds 5 ounces, Chase was 6 pounds 8 ounces. Both 20 inches tall, and they continue to be tall and skinny!!!

 

Mine were conceived naturally. They are fraternal girls. They were born at 34 weeks 6 days and weighed 4#11 and 5#11. Abby had low fluid for several weeks. We think that contributed to the difference.

 

Frat girls, 50 mg clomid. 37 wks 1 day.

We have clomid babies. Born at 35 weeks. Fraternal g/b and weighed 5lb 3oz each!

 

IVF, B/G Fraternal, born at 36w3d. Jake was 5.8 and Hailey was 5 exactly.

 

I have twin boys via IVF. David was 6 pnds. 13oz & Nicholas was 6 pnds. 8 oz. ( born at 39 weeks).

My girls were fraternal au naturale both were exact same weight 4.14 born at 36.1wks totally healthy never even in the nursery.

 

IVF twins, born at 34 weeks. Boy- 3,12. Girl- 4 even.

 

My girls are identical. They had 1 placenta.. 2 sacs.. we had some growth issues with baby A..she had measured almost a pound different for a few weeks before they were born at 33 weeks.

3 lbs 4 oz and 3 lbs 14 oz.

 

My lil guys were 6.11 and 7.3. I think they are ID.They had 2 seperate sacs and two placenta's, but hten when they were out they said they were fused together. They were born at 39.2 weeks. And i think they were ethe perfect weight, healthy and easy to get out!

I have b/g twins (IVF) that were born at 34w2d. She weighed 3.10 and he weighed 4.15

babyA (Addison) was 6.9 pounds
babyB (Ava) was 6.8

 

Di/Di (not sure if ID or not yet) boys born at 38 wks - no fertility help.
Gavin - 6 lbs 14 oz
Matthew 7lbs 3 oz.

 

My girls are Mono/Di identical, at birth (28 weeks 1 day) Kaylyn weighed 3lbs 1oz, and Kylee weighed 2lbs 10oz.

 

Mine were conceived spontaneosly...we don't know if they are ID or Frat.

Myfraternal twins were born with the help of chlomid/IUI and God . I gave birth via c-section at 36.5 weeks. They weighed 6 lbs 6oz and 5lbs 10 oz

 

B/G twins-IUI/Injections born at 39 weeks. DS was 7lbs 14oz and DD was 6lbs 4oz.

Do weights really depend on if they were concieved spontaneously or through help? I have never heard of this before.
