TWINS ARE HERE!

Everything went great. I went in Wednesday for cervidil prep, oxytocin started thursday morning, doc broke baby A (Reilan's) water at 1pm after epidural started, epidural accidentally came out 2 1/2 hours before delivery and had to be reinserted (NEVER WANT TO FEEL THAT KIND OF PAIN AGAIN!) completely dilated and effaced by 11:15 pm, taken to surgical room, delivered vaginal on Friday Aug 24th @ 38 1/2 weeks. Reilan Marie was 7 lb 4 oz, 19 1/2 inch, at 12:59 am, Randal Keith 6 lb 3 0z, 21 inch at 2:02 am, they spent 3 hours in transitional care for evaluation then out to the nursery with no complications. We are all home now, last night was our first night-I was up every 2-3 hours feeding but overall went smooth.

 

Awesome!!! Congratulations! I'm in awe of your delivery story! Epidurals can fall out? I never knew!! Great weights for the babies too. You did it!!!

Ouch on the epidural coming out!! Yikes...guess it wasn't taped well enough to your back...eeek.. Congrats on having a successful induction and vaginal delivery of your twins!!!
