twins are grrreeeeaaattt!

Okay, so maybe I'm writing this because:
a. the girls are asleep for the night and we have a sweet routine right now...
b. I'm able to finally drink one whole beer (okay 2) without worrying about it because of this (which I have)...
c. I watched a cute little video someone posted of their twins...

but I LOVE having twins! Today I was looking at my girls and I kept cooing to them "I have two babies!!" "Look at my sweet, sweet babies". Sometimes I just stop and look at them in awe and think about how lucky I am to have two beautiful babies!! I especially love watching them interact and smile and laugh at each other... it's so fun!

 

I agree ^_^ Sometimes [when things aren't crazy hectic] it's nice to sit back and actually enjoy being a mommy of twins. Such a wonderful feeling.. Two beautiful babies, awww.. especially sleeping babies!!

I feel the same way! I never in a million years thought I would have twins and now that I do, I just look at them and think 'I have twins.....I HAVE TWINS!!!' It is such a great feeling and I feel so happy for them to have eachother and I can't wait to watch their twin relationship develop as they grow up.

 

I totally agree!! It took so much for me to get my kids and now I'm doubly blessed, it's an amazing feeling! :wub: :wub:

 

I feel the same way about being a twin.. It is so special!! Sometimes unless you stop and reflect you dont realise how blessed and lucky u are.. and i agree with twin babies. We know a few sets of twin toddlers and babies.. they are so cute. Our Mum's Cousin had Identical Girls.. it feels like yesterday that they were just born... can u believe they are 2 years old already? its crazy how fast time passes.. :wub:

I'm still pretty new to the world of twins but I totally agree. I found out yesterday that someone referred to me as "You know, Jen with the twins" How cool is that!

I went to a baby group just to get them weighed and all of the other moms' jaws dropped when I walked in with 2 baby buckets. A lot of "I can hardly get out of the house with one how do you do it with two?" to which I laughingly reply- "My 2 year old is at the sitter's, this is EASY"

Can hardly wait for them to start interacting with each other. :hug:

 

Awww...it truly is amazing isn't it! I sometimes still have to sit back and think..I have TWO babies! I don't know anything different so its fun to go to my sisters where she is the same way, "I can't believe you have 2 babies!" is a regular phrase out of her mouth and yes going places with them at first I felt like a side show bc I'm not really that outgoing but now I love the stares and questions (well some of them)
