twins again!

    I went for a very early ultrasound today to count babies. I had twins almost 21mos ago. I wasn't to surprised but yet I was when she told me it's twins again! I'm really excited. I'm a little nervous about another twin pregnancy but I know I can do. I'm pretty nervous about them being mono/di or possibly mono/mono. They couldn't see a membrane between the two of them today but she said it's really early and there could be one and they can't tell. I have my first regular obgyn appointment in four weeks. I'm sure they'll order another u/s then.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! How exciting!!!!!!!


    Oh and my girls were actually di/di and they could not see a membrane on the first ultrasound! (5 weeks 5 days)

    Thank you. I was silly and start looking online...bad! bad! bad! Anyway, we saw two yolk sacs today. I just read two yolk sacs typically mean two sacs so it's mono/di instead. I'm really hoping for that!!! I'm sure the ob will order another u/s after I see him next month. Hopefully we can tell then. I'm just going to be doing a lot of praying in the mean time.

    Ok the tech today saw two yolk sacs in one gestational sac. Okay, so is it true that typically when you see two yolk sacs they will go on to have their own amnionic sac later on? I know they would be identical but it would be mono/di instead.
