    Hello,
I'm a new mommie to this website expecting my little bundles of love in Feb, though knowing there are two we'll probably be early. Anyhow, I'm in the process of looking at strollers and was thinking of getting the Kolcraft Contours Options Tandem and a Snap and Go single with a BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active for more back support to use if my husband and I have the babies seperatly. I'm tall 5'10 and my husband is as well. We live in SF and really want one that is versitle for city life. We were thinking of getting these but would love to hear your suggestions.
    Thanks so much! :)

I have the duoglider and I use it all the time. It fit both infant carriers when they were in them and now at 18 months still fits them well. I can fit in/out of doors/aisles pretty easily with it. With a SBS I would never be able to fit through the doors at my oldest DD's school to walk her in. We have an umbrella SBS that was given to us that we use sometimes and took it on vacation since it was so much smaller, but if I know they will be in the stroller awhile I use the duoglilder. It works well for us.

I got the baby jogger city series double...although i haven't put it to use with the babies yet my husband and i have pushed it around and open and closed it several times and love it! I can't wait to put it to use! the canopy goes down very far so that the babies are well shaded unlike many strollers i looked at... with 2 different window views and the front wheels can swivel or lock straight, and the handle has multiple positions. you can check it out at babyjogger.com

I'm looking at the Kolcraft as well. I've read really good reviews on it. The biggest downsides seem to be weight of the stroller and no snack tray but I think I can we can make it work. I don't know anything about the snap and go. I'm not sure they were around when my son was an infant. Both dh and I used the carrier quite a lot with him though. It was a bit more comfortable for dh to use as he's 6" while I'm only 5'2" but definitely a good investment.

A lady I met that had twins highly recommended the double snap n' go stroller which works while they are in infant car seats. It's basically a frame of a stroller and you adjust it to fit the brand of car seats that you are using. It's light weight and folds up so you can put it in your trunk. They retail for about $100 at target or walmart, I was able to buy one at a garage sale for $40. Hope that helps:)

We have the Snap 'n Go double frame stroller and have registered for the Graco Colburn SBS for when they are out of infant car seats. We'll probably look for a used jogging stroller too next spring. HTH:)

We're getting the Snap and Go, and getting two infant seats not sure which ones yet. After they've outgrown their infant seats we'll get a double stroller.

I just got the Contours stroller this wknd @ my shower and I love it. We ordered it off of Target online and there were many mixed reviews on the stroller on that sight. I don't personally don't think it is very heavy, but I guess it weighs 50+lbs. It also come with only 1 car seat frame, you can order a second one. The seats are very versitile and I really like the options it gave you for seating and positions (upright, laying back, feet up, feet down, etc.) The only 1 disadvantage is that to fold it to the most compact size you need to pop off both the seats (real easy just push 2 buttons and lift off) but that may be an issue for some. Other than that it is very sturdy and the colors great (I'm not a big fan of pastel everything). Any other ?'s, feel free...

We have the double snap and go which is SO great for quick trips (we have the graco car seats that snap right in) and we also have a bob duallie revolution jogging stroller (bobgear.com) for walks and outings which we also love, you just have to get them out of their car seats! I don't care too much for the front to back seating w/ the snap n go, I prefer the side by side (which the bob has) so they can both see me and no one will fight over the front seat when we get to thet point. Have Fun Shopping!

Hey ladies- Just remeber that the Baby Trend Snap and Gos fit "MOST" infant car seats, BUT NOT ALL.. sooo make sure you know which ones it will work with.

We're getting the double snap and go for the babies initially. I have a toddler and went through various single stroller and carrier options. For me, personally, I found that I was only comfortable with the front carrier for a short amount of time while my baby was young. However, my dh found that it was good for him and we did get quite a bit of use out of it. I hadn't seen the kolcraft stroller before, but it looks really nice...kind of like a double bugaboo. I also like the look of the double maclaren stroller for down the road. It doesn't have too many bells and whistles but it's light and easy to maneuver. I have the single bugaboo and maclaren and I use the maclaren all the time because it is so light. I've invested a small fortune in strollers!

We got the double snap and go for our Graco car seats-you do need to check if yours is compatible...We also got the Combi side/side-a recommendation from my sister-it is very lightweight and easy to close up. We also got a side/side jogger for the beach and longer walks. They were all give to us a gifts for my shower and though I haven't used them yet-I am happy with my purchases!

We started with a Double Snap n Go and a MacLaren Twin Rally (for car and travel). They've been out of the infant carriers since 6 1/2 months, so now the MacLaren is our new "Snap n Go", and then we have a Mountain Buggy Urban Double for walks. Great stroller, but since I needed to give up my Bugaboo I wanted something great in return!

We had the snap n go and loved it. Once they were out of infant seats we got a PegPerego (sp?) and while I wasn't sold on the side by side I am now. It fits through doors and there is no fighting about who gets to sit in front.

I was given a double snap n go frame stroller by a friend whom used it with 2 Graco infant carriers. To my mistake I registered for 2 Evenflo infant carries instead. So I cannot use the snap n go frame stroller because she does not have all the pieces to convert it to fit my carriers. So, DH & I went on a mission. Since we had already thrown away the boxes for the carriers we had to find a double stroller to fit them!! We ended up with the Evenflo Tandem CityTour Double Stroller which I like so far. We have opened it, put the seats in it, taken seats out, folded it, again, & again. It's been great! Seems like it's going to be reliable thus far. It fits nicely in the back of the minivan too. We played around at the stores and if you do the same, you'll find one you like!!

I looked at many strollers. I was going to use the Graco duoglider but found out the hospital was going to give us FREE carseets, they don't of course fit on the stroller so I figured I would just put them in the stroller without the carseats till I went to the store and realized the front seat doesn't go down far enough for an infant to be in it. So we looked around and found the Graco duo RIDER and it is a side by side, but narrow, both seats go down all the way and it is so easy to fold and so light I think it will work wonderfully.
And it cost less than most double strollers (I got mine on sale for $100)

We have the duoglider. I loved with my first how I could just snap the carseat on the stroller and go. So I wanted a stroller that was able to do that the second time around. Also, since I have a toddler who still needs to ride in the stroller most of the time, I love being able to have a spot for him to sit. I put my toddler and one of my twins in the two seats and then I use a baby carrier that you wear on your shoulders to hold the other twin. I also like how slender it is and suprisingly very light. Also, our money is tight and I wanted to have stroller that the babies would be able to use for awhile. I think I maybe buy a side by side in the future. However, for right now I have been very happy with my purchase. :)

I think you need to look at the pros and cons of each stroller (many have been listed in by others in this topic) and decide what works best for you and your needs! HTH!

This is a great jogger. Then handle is adjustable to different heights. You can steer it with one finger! Sun shades are great. Great for city walking!

    hi-

I have a friend who has the Kolcraft tandem and she loves it. The only down side was that the bar that goes in front of the baby is covered with padding and when they get teeth they can chew pieces of it off. So she called them to complain and they sent her 2 free feeding tray bars to go across. They are the same ones as the ones on the single just they dont come standard on the tandem and you cant even order them as an accessory. So you might try and call for snack trays or they may be available when you need them.

I, myself have the duoglider and love it. I loved being able to snap in the carseats when they were little and now they can ride in it since they are sitting and can see everything. I also have a Combi Twin Savvy and love that too--its much much lighter than the duoglider so I take it to different places when i need a lighter travel stroller and places like the mall where doorways are not an issue.

I got the Contours Options Tandem. Haven't actually used it yet of course, since the babies aren't here yet. It is big, not something I would try to take on an airplane trip, but otherwise I think it seems great for around town. I LOVE the way the seats can go in any direction. I also ordered the second infant carrier adaptor, and have it sitting here right now with both my Peg Perego infant seats on the stroller frame, and it seems great. The basket under the stroller seems very large, which is great. and the stroller seems like it will be very easy to steer and maneuver. You do have to take the seats off to fold it up all the way - but the seats come off very easily, it's pretty cool the way it works actually.

For light weight needs (for travel, etc.) - we are going with two single strollers, or combining a single + a bjorn carrier. I got the Combi Cosmo DX (or EX - it's the same, one is just exclusive to babies r us). It's very lightweight, folds up nice, and reclines way back to accomodate an infant.
