When you bring your twins home where are they going to sleep and what are they going to sleep in at night?

We're planning on having them sleep in a pack and play (with the bassinet) in our bedroom until I feel comfortable enough with them in their own room. I honestly don't know about what they'll be sleeping in at night. I have some of those Halo Sleep Sacks so we'll probably use those.

Mine slept together in the bassinet portion of a pack-n-play. We had one downstairs in our family room & one in our bedroom.
They slept in footed PJ's and swaddled. We started using our kiddopotamu sleep sacks after the first few weeks.

Before I brought my girls home I had great visions of them sleeping in their cribs. Then they came home and reality set in and we switched gears to survival mode! My girls would only sleep in their Boppy newborn loungers (don't know what I would have done without those!). Most nights we had them in their loungers in between DH and I on our bed. By the time they were 4-5 months old we switched them to their cribs and they have been there ever since. Good Luck!

Mine slept in their cribs from day one...it was great b/c now I don't have to worry about how I'm going to get them to sleep in their cribs. We had them share a crib at first and then in a few weeks, separated them. Occasionally, out of desperation, my DH would allow one of the babies to sleep on his chest in the recliner. We didn't do it too much though b/c I didn't want them to get used to that. The other thing that helped us is that the nursery is so close to our bedroom...it was almost like having them sleep in our room! Good luck!

Mine were in the NICU for 8 weeks before they came home. When they came home at 2 months old they slept in the PNP in our bedroom for 2 months. At 4 months we moved them to their cribs in their room.

Mine will be sleeping in a pnp next to my bed when they come- they will hopefully be sleeping together.

I can only tell you what the plan is :D
We are "planning" on having them share a pnp for the 1st little while and then moving them in a crib for a while and then to seperate cribs.

This was my plan also - until I brought them home and woke up to every little grunt/noise/mini cry they made in their sleep, lol. Then I settled on putting them in separate cradles and put them in the living room [right outside our bedroom]. I kept my bedroom door barely open so I could hear if they cried. It worked out wonderfully! They've been sleeping [separately] in their bedroom for the past two weeks or so. It's worked out pretty good so far - they usually wake each other up though.

They slept in little 'wormy' outfits. They're summer babies so for the winter I'd suggest comfy footy pj's.

All babies are different. You may have to try different things OR the first thing you try might be perfect for them :)

Ditto! I let them sleep where ever they would at first. By 3 (or 4) months we had them each in their own cribs where they've been ever since. Good luck!

We plan on using a PNP just like we did in the beginning with our DD. And as for what they'll sleep in... Miracle Blankets all the way! We used one for months w/DD and she slept like a rock! Can't speak highly enough about those suckers... totally worth the price!

Well, we are planning to have them sleep in the play n pack for a couple months and then hopefully share a crib for a while. If the girls are anything like my son was, we will be spending lots of time with me on the couch and the girls in bouncy chairs in the living room!

I have a couple fleece sleep sacks for them to sleep in and have them swaddled in receiving blankets.

Ours slept in a bassinet in our room for six weeks and then we moved them into a crib in their own room. They were really noisy sleepers and it woke us up so much at night. Once we moved them to their own room, we slept better and only woke up when they needed to feed or needed a change/cuddle etc.

We have an Arm's Reach Original Co-sleeper in our room where they'll sleep for ... as long as that works well for us. :)
They'll be winter babies so the plan is to have them sleep in a onesie, cotton gown, and one of the microfleece Halo swaddle sleepsacks.

We'll see how well all that works when they get here. :)

We slept the girls in a pack n play bassinet until they reached a combined 15 lbs. After that, we moved one to a regular bassinet and left the other in the pack n play. The girls slept in our room until 10 months old.
