we just had our biannual sale a couple weeks ago for the mother of multiples club i belong to. i'd say it was pretty good, even for singletons. lots of toys and clothes, primarily. we also bought our double jogger there in the fall, as well as some swings. some of the clothes can be great bargains, considering there are so many things they just don't wear much! i'd say it's worth checking out, if you have the time! and defintely take some time, esp depending on the size of it. it can get pretty crazy in those places!!!!

I would say that it is worth it for big items like jogging strollers and stuff. But those go FAST! We also bought our second crib for pretty cheap. I have also bought clothes, shoes and toys. I would say that it is worth checking out.

I also sold stuff at our last sale and after the club took their cut got a check for $160!! Pretty good considering the most expensive thing I sold was my EZ2 Nurse pillow for $20.

    I say go - it can't hurt!

We just had our sale in March (and will have another one in September). I bought ALL of the boys' summer clothes there. We have a HUGE sale here though. Tons of clothes, toys, equipment, strollers, cribs, you name it. I would definitely go. Not sure how your club does it, but our club has a members only sale the night before the public sale. That way we get first dibs on the goods! Typically we keep all the matching things together for the club members and then split them up for the public sale. The spring sale is for all spring and summer clothes and the fall sale is for fall and winter.

    check it out! Shannon

Our POM sale is in June and is aparently pretty popular and has lots of things for sale at it. Im on the committee this year for the first time and am sellling a ton of baby stuff...From what the other moms say, they stock up for the next season for their kids at them usually.

How can I find out when/where the sales like this might be in my area? We are rural southern Illinois.

We just had ours last weekend and it went really well. My mother in law purchased two baby beds and mattresses for only $125. She is going to set them up in one of her spare bedrooms. The twins have not spent a night away from their mommy since I was in the hospital when they were five weeks old. Dh told me its time to let them stay the night with his mom so we can have some "alone" time, lol.

Ours is today and while I did not go shopping there, I am selling stuff there and hoping to make some good money. When I set my stuff up yesterday there was lots of stuff to choose from. I went around 2:00 to set my stuff up and there was already about 6 carseats, 10 strollers, 2 exersaucers, a few bouncy, tons of toys, bedding, and TONS of clothes. And I was told that most people drop their stuff off later that night, so there would be tons more. I would definitely say it would be worth it to go and check it out. Everything seemed pretty well priced too.
