For those of you who have the twin pack n play-- first off, do you like it and think it's worth it? And secondly- do you use the normal pack n play sheets?? Or do you need special sized sheets for it? Thanks!! [IMG]

We have the graco pack and play (the one that is $59 at babies r us). It has a little mobile type bar, a bassinet that covers the whole pack and play, and of course the pack and play itself. Just wanted to say that my husband let my son play in the bassinet area (he's 37 lbs and the weight limit is 15 lbs I think) and even though it is not designed for that weight it held up like a champ (my son wants to pretend he is a baby now by the way). I'm glad we just got the regular because it's proven to me to be strong enough to hold up 2 infants if it can hold my one ginormous kid. I don't have the twin one, so I can' tspeak about that one.

I have the twin pack n play and I love it. It has been a life saver. I'm not sure about the sheets because I've never used sheets in there, I usually just lay blankets down. It is well worth the money.

We used ours a lot in the beginning and now we use the bottom part as a pen for the boys or for the one who isn't sleeping [IMG]

We used blankets on the individual bassinets and then got the normal pack n play sheets for the bottom. It works great.

I personally would not spend the money on the special "twin" Pack N Play. We did what a previous poster mentioned - got a Pack N Play with a bassinet mattress that covers the entire top of the Pack N Play so that both babies can fit in there comfortably. You can get one of those for between $50-$100, whereas the special twin one is $200.

I looked at the twin one and didn't feel it would be worth the money so I bought on that has the one bassinet across the top for $50. My babies are due March 3 and I'm hoping I made the right choice.

we didn't think the twin one was worth the money cause the one we looked at still had a 15lb weight limit we got the graco jungle one. had the boys in the bassinet part till they were both 14lbs oops it held up perfect. they are still sleeping on the bottom together (they can't sleep wo each other.

WE loved ours!!!! We used the top seperated bassinets until they were over 4 months old and kept it in our room. We now use it as a playpen- it is much bigger than the typical pak'n play so they can both play in it comfortably. The standard sheets fit it (top and bottom).

I didn't like the twin pack and play. I found that the bassinet part was not level. My babies would roll to the center. We wasted our money. We will not use it until they get big enough to use the playpen part. As for the sheets, I could not find any. Hope this helps.

goodness... looks like there's no easy answer huh?? [IMG] If the normal ones work, then I'm sure it'd be better to save the $. But I don't want it to be "useless" after they're a month or 2 old. (DH was 15 lbs at a month old- granted he was a singleton... but still.) eeny-meeny-miney-moe.... [IMG]

Just somethng about the regular Pack in Plays and the top mattress some of you ware talking about. I have been checking into them and 98% of them have a 15# weight limit... 2 babies Exceed that really fast. So.... We got the Twin version which holds more weight. It has a bigger weight limit on the bassinets although Dr. recommend not separating them, so who knows.

Like I mentioned earlier, though, my son is 37 lbs and my husband put him in the bassinet of the regular pnp on a lark (so he could play baby) and it held him up just fine. I wouldn't put 37 lb kids on the bassinet for sleeping, but really don't think a couple of 3 mo old twins would bring the thing crashing to the ground and most kids don't need to be in a bassinet past that age anyway.

We have the twin pack-n-play and really liked it. When we first brought the girls home, they shared one of the bassinets. When they started moving around some, we separated them into the two bassinets. We kept the PNP in our room and they slept in the bassinets until they were 3 or 4 months old. Each bassinet can hold up to 15lbs. We moved them into their separate cribs when they started moving around a lot and acting like they wanted more room. Now we have the PNP in the living room and use it when we need to make sure they are contained for a minute or I will put one of them in it while I am changing the other one's diaper. They don't like it much and usually scream the whole time they are in it, but they loved it when they were newborns and slept in the bassinets. We never used sheets in the bassinets and if we need something in the bottom part, we just lay a blanket in it.

I am not sure about what you have but I found someone on ebay to custom make the sheets. She charges 2.99 each. I think that is great since I purchased 2 Arm's Reach Co-Sleepers and those sheets are around 15.99 each. (I am going to have one sleeper in the bedroom and one in the living room. The girls will share each one & I will put those sleep positioners in there.) Hope that helps.

I wouldn't waste the money. I have a regular pack n play and put both twins side by side. Plus, the twin one doesn't hold as much weight.

DITTO!! The girls always rolled to the middle in the individual bassinets. They did sleep in the same side when they 1st came home & only weighed 6 lbs. [IMG]

I thought it was a waste for the 3-4 weeks we used it. I am anxious to use it as a playpen though...

I have a Co-Sleeper which has a higher weight limit (30lbs) when used as a basinet and it did not sag at all. Here is a link co-sleeper I used it up to my bed for the first couple months and then I used it as a changing table in my living room for a while. Now I have the mattress part down at the bottom and use it for naps sometimes in the living room. One thing I have heard about the graco one meant for twins is that the babies cannot touch each other, the twin compartments are seperate. My babies slept so much better all cuddled up to one another.

Also if for some reason you want to separate them in the cosleeper, just use that crib separator they sell in stores or online.... or sleep positioners. ( i bought those just in case)

We have 2 regular pack and plays, each with the bassinet insert and changing table. They slept in the bassinet portion together until they reached 15 pounds combined, then we moved them to the bottom portion together. At night we put them together in the same crib (around 3 months).

We use the P&P's all the time. And when they get bigger you really need two as they don't both fit to nap together in one. Their cribs are on the second floor but they are down in our daylight basement all day with the nanny and we have both P&P's down there for their naps so she doesn't have to lug them up two levels. And we always take both when visiting family.
