I wondering if it's worth it to buy the twin nursing pillow online? Does anyone have it and love it? Or hate it?

Is there any other nursing aide out there that is really helpful for twins? The boppy seems kind of small...how about the new "My brest friend?"

I used the boppy with my dd so when I was pg with my boys I bought a twin nursing pillow on ebay because I thought I *had* to have it, but then breastfeeding did not work out for us so it ended up being a waste. In hindsight, I wish I had waited before I made the purchase, but at the time there was no way I was going to wait because I was so certain nursing would be a go.

I know a lot of people will say the nursing pillows are super helpful and worth every penny (I think I hear the most about the EZ Nurser), but I nursed my two for 17 months without one. I used a body pillow wrapped around my waist, which gave them a great boost up. After they outgrew that, I just used regular bed pillows. I always set out to buy a nursing pillow, but just never got around to it. It's totally doable without one!!

I use the EZ2Nurse pillow and love, love, love it! Get the foam, not the inflatable (not useless, but close). Both the Boppy and the My Brest Friend are too small to tandem nurse, but either one is helpful if you're nursing one at a time.

And come on over to the Breastfeeding forum! There's no doubt that nursing is hard, and nursing twins is harder, but there are lots of moms there who would love to be your support system no matter what. (This question has been asked there before, too, if you want to look up previous threads).

I agree with Zabeta! I used my ez2nurse foam for 25.5 months nursing twins and still use it with my singleton. Please come visit the breastfeeding forum if you have any questions about breastfeeding and similar. :)

    :welcome: to Twinstuff!

I had and LOVED my boppy for nursing DS. While I had friends who didn't have one, or who had one and never used it...I, for one, HAD to have my boppy. I don't think I could have nursed without it. So, I found a twin mom on craigslist selling her EZ2Nurse pillow and didn't hesitate to buy it. I guess my thought is that nursing (even one) is hard enough as it is...sometimes having the right tools can make or break the experience...and it seems worth the $50 to have the right tools. The worst that can happen is that you don't end up liking it, or whatever...just put it up on Craigslist and make at least most of your money back!
