Well....I have already started to see stores bringing out their Halloween costumes. Wow, it's not even August yet. LOL!!! But it got me thinking what to dress my twins as, for their very 1st Halloween. And I want to get the good costumes before they are all picked over!

SO......What are your ideas for twin costumes?

    I've seen:

    Thing 1, Thing 2
    Two peas in a pod
    Batman, Batgirl

We are doing Mickey and Minnie Mouse for Halloween and since their 1st birthday is 5 days later we are doing the same for their birthday theme. It was an easy choice for us since Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is the only show they will watch.

On a side note I told my 13 year old DD jokingly that I was thinking about Ragedy Ann and Andy for the twins for Halloween and she asked "WHO? "

At that age, my B/G twins were a cowboy (DS) and an Indian (DD). For their first Halloween, I was not going to dress them up. But their aunt would have NONE of that, and made a princess and dragon costume for the kids! Adorable! Those were the only two years we did coordinating outfits. After that, they were too opinionated!

The first year they were Mario and Luigi. The second year, their sister joined us, so they were all pumpkins. Last year, they were all bugs/insects. Annabella was a ladybug, Nicholas was a spider, and Anthony was a bee. I got them at Once Upon a Child, which is a second hand store for baby/kids stuff. Great deals on the costumes-spent less than $20 on all three.

This year, I'd like to do a Wizard of Oz theme...not sure how that is going to turn out!

I like the Raggey Ann and Andy idea myself! :)

Their first year I had a Frog (very cute sleeper outfit) and a Dragon. 2nd year was a Lion and Monkey.

This year our family is going Mario- the boys are Mario and Luigi, I'm Princess Peach and DH is King Koopa. It's going to be AWESOME.

It's usually still pretty warm here in Texas during Halloween and if the mosquitos are out then we won't be anything but squatters in our house.

I bought costumes on clearance last year for this year. I have two girls but I bought buzz lightyear and the alien from toy story 3. Not girly but cheap and they don't care or won't be collecting candy.

since we have a split household when it comes to football season, my son went in a Pittsburgh Steelers sweatsuit (football player) and I found a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader outfit at Wal Mart - the 2nd year (they were about 18 months) they went as Pooh and Piglet (borrowed costumes)...

Their first year they were Ketchup and Mustard:)

Their 2nd year Hannah joined us so they were Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach:)

Still not sure what we are doing this year but hopefully something again coordinating...as long as I can do it;)

I think it depends on how old they will be on Halloween. Mine were only 5 months old so they wore my 1st halloween onsies with black pants and pumpkin hats my mom made them.[IMG].
