I'm stumped on costume ideas for mira & maya (identical girls). Big sis is going to be snow white for halloween. Every idea I see or think of is for boys or boy/girl twins. I need help! Thanks

My girls were a ladybug and flower last year-my inlaws bought the costumes and I would have prefered the bee to the flower. This year, they are going as Tigger and Piglet.

My twin girls were a bee and a flower one year and other years butterfly and a caterpiller, a football player and a cheerleader, two pea in a pod when they were babies. I like to do themes. I hope those help.

I just had a great idea today but I'm not crafty enough or a good enough sewer (is that a word?) to put them together.

    Sugar and Spice

Hey, that's what little girls are made of :D

With the exception of their first Halloween (they were 11 months old) they've never matched. That first year they were both Minnie Mouse. The following year they were a ladybug and a cow. Their third Halloween they were Hello Kitty and Strawberry Shortcake. Last year they were Belle and Snow White and this year they are going to be a Kitty Cat Fairy (pink fairy costume that has a tail and headband with cat ears on it) and a Pixie Fairy (purple costume with pink flowers on it). I like the idea of a theme but I'm not creative enough to make something so their costumes are always store bought. And they pick out what they want to be (with the exception of the first year).

You could do different color flowers or even just a theme with two puppies or cats. Or, two cheerleaders of different teams?

My twins are going to be a bee and a ladybug. My oldest daughter will be a butterfly.
I figure I could be a gardener, and my husband could an exterminator???

Can they be dwarfs? How about two little monkies? Pumpkins?

    MY girls have been:

Red Sox baseball players (9 months old)
Baby Einstein cat and a mouse, MIL made them (2nd year)
Humpty Dumpty and Mother Goose (3rd year)
    Angel and Devil (this year)

I've loved all of their costumes! Whatever you decide, have fun!

OMG - Maggie is going as Tinkerbell, and the twins are going as a bumblebee and a lady bug. That is too funny so many came up with the same idea.

Since Snow White, how about animals from the forest? A deer (all in brown with a tail or something) and a turtle ( green, and some other turtle feature) It's too early for me to be too creative - let me check back after some more caffiene...sorry!

Thanks for all the great ideas. My older daughter saw me looking at costumes, & now she's on board with a theme. We're thinking she'll be little bo peep & the Mira & Maya 2 sheep. Found cute costumes online. I also like two cheerleaders from different teams as my husband likes ohio state & I like Iowa. Ladybug & bumble bee is really cute too.

Last year mine were Tigger and Eeyore. This year they're both going to be cheerleaders, different outfits though.

This is exactly what we ordered this fall. I saw them last year and loved them, but they didn't come small enough. So when September rolled around this year, I jumped on these. My mom made little black silk hoods with antennaes on top. Adorable!
