twin discount

after reading the diaper discount thread (which is great; thanks!), i thought i'd mention that babies r us gives a 10% twins discount. i'm sure you all probably already knew that, but just in case, i thought i'd share that info. the discount is for items $50 or more, when you buy more than one of the same item.

It really came in handy when we bought our large items! Also babies r' us will match burlington coat factory prices if you bring it to their attention. We bought our comforter sets at BRU and then saw it cheaper at Burlington so we told BRU and they matched the price or else I was going to return it.

Baby Depot will do a 20% discount as well on larger items like cribs.

 

I always ask about Twin discounts. Sometimes I even joke about it at store I know will not give it to me.

Make sure that at BRU if you have coupons you get the discount plus get to use the coupon.

ALso, at the Osh-Kosh outlet stores, they give I think a 10% discount on clothes.

 

Babies-R-Us online will not honor this discount on most of their cribs. I found one I liked, but discovered you can only buy one at a time. When I called their customer service number they told me they had a limited supply, BUT I could always place two separate orders to get both of them. Doesn't sound like a limited supply, just a way to prevent people from getting a discount! I talked to someone in the store about it also and they told me the online store is owned by a completely different company.
