Twin Discount For Convertible Carseats?

Did you get a twin discount for your convertible carseat? If so, where? I'm looking to buy a Britax Marathon online and wondered who gave the best discount.

Elitecarseats is where I ordered my marathons from. I ordered them over the phone. If I remember correctly I got a 10% discount and free shipping. The lady I talked to was so nice.

 

I know Babys R Us gives a multiples discount on items such as carseats, cribs, mattreses, etc. when you buy more than 1 of the exact same item. I think it was 10% and I know they carry the Britax Marathon. I do believe you have to go into the store to get the discount and make sure to remind the cashier to apply the multiples discount.

I am almost positive that ordering online at elitecarseats does not add tax to the price and BRU does add tax. Check to make sure but that is why I think I did not order from BRS. Also, BRU only had 3 different styles to choose from by me.

 

Burlington Coat Factory...baby stuff area has twin discount...i think the dude said 15% or 20% for big ticket items...ie car seats, cribs etc....

 

I am looking at the Britax Marathon, too, and contacted Elitecarseats.com and was told I could get a 10% twin discount on my order. I am also getting the Monarch booster for my son, so any discount will help Plus they have fre shipping, and I believe no tax. I have to double check that, though.

 

Thanks ladies! I had seen a Britax Marathon All-Star blue on eBay for $249.99 and free shipping. However it's a better deal at elite with a twin discount of 10% (even at full price for the seat). We've got their 6 month appt today and will find out just how soon I need to buy them.

I was also going to say Babies R Us, we got a pretty good discount, when we bought their cribs, and everything! I think after our total purchase, it was like 50 dollars off with the discount.
