So my little 2 month old girls are both pretty fussy babies at the moment, and I love carrying them in my Ergo as much as they like being carried. However it's only one at a time, and I really want to just be able to carry them both. All I've really found was a Moby wrap. It looked great and since my girls are about newborn size now (one is 8lbs the other is 7lbs) I figured it should totally work! After finally getting it in the mail and trying it on, my girls don't seem to fit! I have only tried the "twin hug hold" so far, but they seem cramped and not at all happy about it. :( I REALLY want to carry them both so I don't go nuts during the day when I'm alone with them. Any tips or advice you can give me would help so much. Thank you!!

I think a friend at my twin's group used two of the sling type carriers and just wore both at once... I don't think that she had only one carrier. good luck. I never got the hang of them, let alone wearing two.

I can't remember if this is the brand or not, but I think it was the New Native baby carriers. Not sure that you need that brand or not...

It's a little pricey, but looks like it's worth it.

Check out E&Msmom's post to another thread where she gave a link showing her with a moby wrap carrying both of her babies. I was pretty impressed! :) I lurve my homemade moby wraps (I didn't want to spend $40 for an official one), but I haven't been brave enough to try to figure out how to carry both of my boys with it. Good luck!

I tried the maxi carrier, and it was hard to deal with. Mainly because you have to put the baby in the harness then strap it to you. With fussy babies this is a challenge. I sold mine back on ebay. I just use a single carrier now to get around for shopping. usually if both of my girls are fussy at the same time, it usually means they need a nap, so I just sit with them or lay with them both til the fall asleep.

I just found The Weego Twin Baby Carrier on the net. It can be used from birth upwards - starting at a weight of the babies of 1.6kg (3.5lbs). Depending on the weight and size of the babies it can be used until the twins are approximately 6-9 months old or up to 35lbs in total together.

....ugh, I wish I found this earlier. Mine are already 35lb together...

I saw her replies in other threads, but the picture lead to a dead end (EDIT: Kidding! Your thread was recent enough that her pictures worked! thank you!). :( I'm thinking about making another moby for carrying them both. Since I just managed to put one in the moby then the other in my old bjorn! I'd like to have the full support for both of them :)

Wow! I had never seen that one before! That would be perfect except it seems why my girls don't like being in the moby together, other then cramped quarters, is because both twin holds make them "frog" their legs up. They're both really gassy babies, and it seems they like being more stretched out and suspended. :) Two wraps should fix that! :)

I got one of these, and it was hands down the best investment I made. It's easy to use and get off and on. You can wear the slings separately or together.
I don't have any help during the day, and honestly I can't imagine how I would get by without it.

I got the moby as a gift and pretty much hate it. Although, now that my boys are bigger, I should try it again. The twin hold never worked for me. The best I could do with it was snuggle one boy in tightly so I had both arms to hold the other.
