twin bathing?

My boys are now 6 months and really too big for the plastic tub they have been getting washed in (water everywhere!!). Any recomendations on what to do next? Do I buy a bigger tub, get something for the bath tub....? Thanks!!

 

How about something like this to put in the big tub? Or putting the small tub in the big tub so it doesn't make such a mess?

 

I bathed mine in the kitchen sink. I have a double sink and when they could sit up I sat them one in each side.

 

We use these and they work great! I started using them even before the girls could sit up on their own and it wasn't a problem.

 

We also used the bathing ring. THey were great and so safe when I often bathed them by myself.

 

I used this from one step ahead. It was great to have them in a smaller tub in the tub until they were really steady sitting.

 

Hi there, we use both of our Bumbo seats in the bathtub! It works great.......give it a try! The soapy water gets in and around their bums anyway, so they get clean. Plus our babies love looking at each other while in the tub, it is too cute and we have taken SO many pictures of them. Good luck! ~Jillian

 

we use the big normal person bathtub and also have tried the bumbo seats which work not to bad except they float, so you have to be a little careful.

This is what I used in the kitchen sink. I have a wicked big sink so it worked, but would probably work great in the tub too

I used the baby tub in the big bath tub until they could sit well on their own. GL!

 

We use the big yellow sponge in the bottom of the big bathtub. They love splashing around with both hands and feet. The only downside is I can't do both at once that way.

I'm getting ready to buy the bathseats now that they are mostly sitting on their own.

 

Thanks so much - those are all great ideas!! I wish we had a double sink - that sounds like a riot!

 

We use the snug tub and it works great! My kids love it and it allows them to play and splash since this tub fits into our big tub. Bath time is now more fun. I would only recommend it, though. if both your little ones can sit up well.
