What do you do with your babies to encourage them to enjoy Tummy Time?

    Thank you.

I used Boppies under them a lot to give them some elevation. Mirrors are good to put in front of them. If they really hate it, you can lay on the floor and lay them on your chest, so that they can see you.

I started off slow at first they didn't want anything to do with it. I would just do it a little longer each time and I would put blocks and toys on the floor in front of them. Like Becky said, mine love to lay on my belly or chest and look at me, I bounce my belly and they love that they laugh every time

I also started slow. Lauren didn't mind it, but Emma could only stand moments at a time. I just made sure she never got too ticked off, and we slowly worked our way up to some good time.

I just took it a little at a time, using Boppies to prop them up. I'd stand a little board book up and flip through the pages; they liked that.

My little guy hated tummy time up until recently. I put him up on the boppy and put one of those pop up books in front of him that play music. As the music plays, I move the page back and forth so he can see how it is interactive. It keeps him intrigued and forces him to keep his head up to see what's going on.

Mine hated it until recentlytoo. Using the boppy helped and now they'll do it without.

Mine are better with tummy time if they are facing eachother. They will then look at eachother and I just put a bunch of toys in front of them. They are starting to army scoot a lot now though so they do not really stay in one place for long. I also used to place them on my chest a lot as the pp mentioned.

It will come. Mine are 4mos. old now and just recently got more comfortable with it. They are belly sleepers which helps as well.
