Tummy Sleepers: what nighttime diaper do you use?

Pampers baby dry has been working great for us until now. However, the boys are consistently sleeping on their tummy and the front of the diaper just isn't capable of supporting all that urine!

Any tricks to keep tummy sleepers dry until 7am? I've considered changing them at our 3am feed, but am terrified I'll wake them up too much and end up with 2 wide awake babies at 3am...I'm to tired to risk that!

Trevor just moved to a size 3 and Emilie is in a size 2 still. Right now at night we are using Luvs size 3. I started using them a few weeks ago since they are sleeping through, I went up a size. During the day though we are using Pampers swaddlers and cruisers. My daughter does always sleep on her tummy, my son does sometimes.

I know Huggies makes an overnight, I'm not sure if they make a size 3 though, I know they make size 4 and 5. We used those for my oldest daughterer and I'm thinking I did find them somewhere in size 3, but that was 5 years ago. I've only seen size 4 and above now that I need size 3 for mine.

I would try the different brands and maybe even go up a size if they are close to the next size for night time.

have you thought about using two diapers - one in their current size and one in the next size up?

We use the same kind, day and night- Pampers Cruisers, size 3.
Both babies end up sleeping on their bellies and do not wake up wet.

DS started having this issue. We still use Swaddlers and he just pee'd through. I received a bunch of White Cloud diapers in various sizes, so I put a Size 3 on him, even though at the time he weighed 14 pounds. He's been dry ever since. We still use Swaddlers during the day. When I run out of the freebies, I'll try to put him into the Huggies Overnights. The bigger size may be the key more than the diaper brand?

yeah, I've always bumped up to the next size well before meeting the weight recommendations. We're probably around 18-19 pounds, but have been wearing size 3 diapers during the day for a month or two. I just bumped my big boy up to 4s at night...and he's not the one leaking. I guess I should just move my peanut into size 4s too...it will be comical to see him absolutely swimming in them!

I've had size 3 Huggies Supreme on my son since he was 4 months old and 13 lbs and haven't had a wet night ever since moving up from size 1-2

We use Pampers Cruisers during the day but at night always use Huggies Supreme -- I find them to be more absorbent, somehow. I also bump them up to the next size for overnight, so they've been sleeping in size 4's overnight. Although, at this point (or maybe at the next size) the size difference shouldn't have an effect, unfortunately. [IMG] FWIW DS doesn't leak with this arrangement...but I'm not sure he would anyway. However, DD used to leak, and now that we've bumped her to size 4's leaking is a rarity.

Huggies supremes work well for my tummy sleeper at night. And I also roll the top of the diaper in, which helps keep the pee in while it absorbs.
