Tummy bug, or teething?

my ds has had teething poops for about three days now... today, however, he has pooped about seven times and he threw up twice. He doesn't seem lathargic, he is playing and he nursed, he ate breakfast and lunch, had a snack (he threw that up) and didn't eat dinner but chugged two cups of water and threw that up. Is it a tummy bug or teething?... he has no fever either...

I would say it's something more than just teething. Probably a bug. Hope he feels better.

They slept fine last night.... no puking today, but not much eating... nursing ok... but the poopy diapers are insane... and extremely messy.... ewww... we have taken more baths in the last three days than we have in the last week....

Sounds like what is going around here. None of my kids have gotten it yet. I dont think they usually throw up with teething but teething does weird things so I guess you never know.... Funny thing with kids though they can be perfectly normal one minute throwing up the next and back to running and playing the very next minute. Kids are like that sometimes when they get sick.
I hope he is feeling better soon.

Sounds like the bug that just hit here. Thankfully it only lasted 24 hours.

My DS is in the hospital right now with a bad form of Hand-Foot and Mouth virus. He has sores on his tongue and in his throat, maybe in his belly. But the lymph nodes in his tummy are so swollen they were causing him a ton of pain. The mouth sores were preventing him from eating or drinking much and it did get worse as the week wore on.

He threw up 2x's on Tuesday, the ulcers showed up on Thursday. He was fine intermintantly, then he would crumple over in pain.

Be on the look out for sores and a low-grade fever.
