Well, I was supposed to have my Ultrasound at the last appointment, but the scheduler screwed up so I ended up having one today! :icon_biggrin:

It was kind of cool because I haven't seen them since my 21 week ultrasound and it is nice to see a difference. Also, my husband was not able to go to the appointment this time so I asked my mom if she wanted to come and of course she did so she got to see them too... I think that she found it pretty interesting sonce she has never been pregnant before (I was adopted).

Anyway, my doctor seems to be very pleased with how things are going. I really have been feeling uncomfortable the last 3-4 days, but I think it is pretty much to be expected at this point. I asked him just to be sure and he said that he thought it sounded normal as well.

The babies are growing pretty well I guess to spite the fact that I have not gained any weight in the last 3 weeks. Baby A weighs 3 lbs. 12 oz and Baby B Weighs 4 lbs. 6. oz. I was glad to get weights since my previous doctor didn't give any weight estimations at all. They had good heartrates as well with A @ 140 and B @ 150....

I am scheduled to have a c-section  on November 8th, but he thinks that I will go earlier than that (I'll be 38 weeks by then). I am a little bummed out that I am having the c-section since they are both head down, but I keep reassuring myself that it is the safest thing for me since I had a previous one.

Anyway, other than Heartburn, Pelvic Seperation, and Lots of Ligament pain things are going really well! I hope others have had sucess at their recent appointments as well!

Sounds like a great appointment! How great that your mom could come with you. I brought my mom with me to one of mine, u/s wasn't invented when she had her kids so she found it pretty interesting. Your kids seem to be growing good. I, too, had a c/s with my twins, I didn't have a choice because a fibroid basically blocked their exit path :). So, whatever is best for the babies, right? Just make sure you have help lined up for when you get home.

Thanks! It seems like things are moving so quickly! I had a c-section with the first, and had hoped not to have another. Although my doctor really feels it is necessary and like you said, whatever is best for the babies is what I will do!

Thanks for the update. All sounds good.

We are about exactly the same right now so I'll have to keep an eye on you. My two babies were different sizes yesterday. One was about 3 lbs 11oz while the other was 4 lbs 15 oz but no one seemed concerned. They're fraternal so they could be just genetically different. I am hanging in there and he told me to stay on my "left side" as much as possible. Saying that, i'm not on bed rest or anything. I am just slowing down--which is to be expected. How are you feeling overall? Still active?

Sounds like things are going well for you too. My doctor wasn't overly concerned about size difference although we are not sure if they are fraternal or ID yet since they are both boys... I can't wait to find out though! Overall, I think that I feel great! I am still pretty active although the last few days I have been feeling the aches and pains a little more ;) .

I'm going for vbac with this one since I had c/s with my twins. I have run across a handful of moms who are trying to vbac with twins. I can't honestly say that I know for sure if I would try that...but I do know it can be done and is done safely...it's all about evaluating the risks you are comfortable taking. And clearly you'd have to switch docs to find someone more comfortable with vbacing twins.... That would be another consideration. I guess the only other thing that could happen is if you go into labor on your own earlier than your c/s date and walk in there at like an 8cm..then your doc might let you try vaginal!!! LOL!
