I think our guys need to move on from the blue tubs over the sink..they are kicking and splashing water EVERYWHERE..I'm just not sure if it's worth getting the tub seats..what are you doing?

We have 2 bath seats and it is easy to bathe them both at the same time.

We went from the blue sink tubs to the regular bath with no seats around 8 months. They were both sitting well at that point and I filled up the tub with just a couple of inches of water, so they were able to crawl around. I would suggest getting a no-slip mat for the bottom of the tub if you decide to go this route. I hate tub seats! It's too hard to get them clean and they are always trying to climb out!

When my girls were newborns, I bought one of those sponge type things at BRU that are used inside the blue tub until they get a little bigger. I am patting myself on the back for buying a second one and sitting my girls on those during bath time. We switched to a big tub around 9 months and these sponges have been working great. Mine aren't crawling yet but are super fidgety and sometimes fall over, so I only put a small amount of water in about enough to cover their legs.

I use the bath rings. My boys have not tried to escape them yet!

We LOVE our tub seats!!!!!!!! Its great cause i can wash them up and then just sit and watch them play without having to be bent over (my back hurts enough)
Mine have never tryed to climb out of there bath seats, they are way to interested in splashing in the water.
This is them in there tubby seats

We used a tub seat until he was able to sit up on his own...around 8 months. Once he started reaching for stuff, the seat would easily tip, though and we decided to just put him in the tub without anything. He does fine. I keep the water level low and sit on the floor next to him. He loves it!

We don't use the tub seats. It seems the babies outgrow things so fast, it's not worth spending the money on certain things.

They can both sit up so we just fill the bath with a little water and clean them while they splash. I usually give them a bath one at a time unless DH is home then we put them in together.

Honestly sometimes it is just easier to bath them when I am taking a shower or bath and then they can be passed on to DH.
Just some other ideas to think about!

We just stopped using our seats recently and I admit, it's harder to bathe them then it was before when I had the seats. They were getting out of their seats so we had to stop using them. :(
