So my boys have really taken off in the movement area. It's all I can do to keep them seated in the bath tub. Now there's this big shiny thing (the faucet) just beckoning them to grab it and stand up. Ours has that button on the top that turns the shower head on. All the ones I see don't have a way for you to access the knob to turn the shower on. We rarely use the shower in there, so I could just buy one and take the cover off when we want to use the shower. Thing is...I can't get the covers to fit over the button at the top.

I saw one by Flo that looked kind of cool. Which one do you use? Shannon

This probably isn't very helpful, but I tried one (from One Step Ahead) and then bailed on it. The water didn't come out smoothly when it was on, and it was too much of a pain to keep putting it on & taking it off. DH and I usually bathe the girls together anyhow, and we just resigned ourselves to several months of telling them to sit down and holding our hands over the faucet whenever they got too close to it. It hasn't actually been that big of a deal. We do still have problems with them standing up (I try to use the rule that bathtime is over when they stand up, but they love their baths so much that I am weak about enforcing it), but not with the faucet itself.

Plus, once they started walking, they were bumping their heads on things so often that it didn't seem that scary if they bumped their heads on the faucet once in a while -- it was just another bump.

We have one that looks like a frog its by SASSY. its very cute!! we have to take it off when we shower and put it back on when we bathe them but it only takes about half a second to do, so no big deal. Our kids love the froggy and it came with a frog toy net for drying the toys after the tubby. we got it at babies r us for about $10.00

We have one from BRU too. I think it might be by Sassy, but it's a fish. We never shower in their bathroom, so I don't have to worry about taking it off. I did have to really stretch it to get it over the knob though.

I was looking at covers too, and found one at BRU online. It does not have to be removed to turn on the shower, if your diverter is on the spout. I am planning on purchasing it to try it out.

I prefer soft plastic to fabric as fabrics become moldy quickly and are harder to keep clean.

I have a soft plastic rubber ducky type spout cover from Target.

We use an inflatable one from The First Years. It was a shower present, so I"m worry I don't know where they got it. It doesn't need to be removed to use the shower, either, which is nice.

I use the rubber ducky from Target. It is dressed like a fireman. His hat lifts up to put bubbles in! It was only 2 bucks!
