So my hubby and I have decided to go ahead and try for another ... gulp! We're excited and hopeful to not have to take any meds. We conceived the twins with clomid after 3 years of trying and 2 miscarriages. We're undecided if we would go down the road of fertility again just because of the chance of multiples. (Not that we wouldn't be excited or thrilled ... we just are unsure at this point.) I'm just curious of those of you that had to use some sort of fertility to conceive your first how long it took you to get pg with your next? Did you have to use any meds? Thanks for sharing!

I had my IUD taken out in April and we conceived in July. So not all that long, they say that if nothing happens after six months to talk to your doctor. Good luck!

After 5 IUIs and 2 IVFs, we conceived the boys. This one was unplanned, so I can't really give you a time line as to how long it took.

The only thing I would say is that if I had planned this I would have waited at least until my kids were out of diapers because chasing toddler twins while pregnant is not fun.

Took 7 months to conceive Rebecca. Turns out I had low progesterone. First cycle using prop. supplements I was pg. Took 1 cycle to conceive Sam. I was surprised as it took 7 months to conceive both times before. I went on prog. supplements as well with him as a precaution. I never had my levels drawn.

We just conceived #3 (unplanned). I had 2 cycles and then I got pregnant. We were not trying, but not using birth control either. Our kids will be 20 months apart.

Took clomid and a trigger shot to have our twins.
I was still nursing, had not had my cycle return, was not using birth control and our twins were 21 months when this baby was born! We found out we were pregnant 1 month after their 1st birthday!

Hi! I had my son while on BCP, then it took 2 years and clomid before I got pregnant with my twins. Four months after I had my twins, I got pregnant with my daughter without assistence. I then got divorced and did the single mom thing. I got engaged last month and just found out 3 days ago baby 5 is on the way. One problem with fertility does not mean there will be problems later on. I hope this helps good luck.

It took 2 years for us. 7 years infertility with clomid, IUI's and finally 1 successful IVF cycle. I got pregnant the weekend the twins turned 2. (on *our* own)

This baby took one cycle of injectables to conceive. SInce our last one took 4 rounds of Clomid we weren't expecting it to happen so quickly and are thrilled!
