    Hi everyone ,
My twins just turned a year a month ago.. I was wondering if anyone of you have an older child ? I have a 4 1/2 yr old girl . WE love to take walks but I cant go for a long one because my little girl starts to whine that she is tired and wants to sit like the twins.. I was just curious how you all do it with a older child and what you use and if you like it.
    thanks

I have 16 month old twins and a 3.5 year old and I bought a Valco Twin Trimode for that reason. That was we have a double stroller for the boys and then we use the toddler seat attachment if we go for a long walk or to the mall so that I dont have to put up with her "lollygagging."

We are definitely in the same position! My almost 4 year old has a breakdown if she has to walk, however she never wanted in it prior to the twins. Definitely jealous! Personally, I'm looking for an inexpensive stroller on Craigslist for trips to the zoo, mall and I like to take walks in the evening.

I bought a BabyJogger triple last year before the summer started and my twins (3) will still sit in it now. I love it for those long walks.

I had a used J Mason triple stroller for about 1 year after Chloe was born (P and P were 17 months then).
It is a hard stroller to push when loaded up and there isn't much room on the seats. About 4 months ago P and P really started to rebel against the triple so I sold it. Now if it is just me and the 3 going to the mall or something I push 2 in the double and sling one.

If I were in that situation I think I would consider hte Joovy double sit-n go. I think it's called the Caboose.

I have the Joovy double sit and stand. I like it, but it's very hard to push and manuever around turns and corners. I have 3 yo twins and an 8 mo old. My twins also argue over who gets to sit and who stands in the back. It also barely fits in the back of my honda odyssey van. When I take it somewhere I slid it between the front and middle rows.

When I was looking for a triple, I did a lot of research and I could barely find a good review on the Joovy!

I had decided on the Peg Perego Triplette, like you we LOVE walks and I take them on at least an hour long walk every nice day there is.

The PP was HARD. Not only was it really heavy (120lbs+ loaded) but when there was a kid in the front seat, the wheels wouldn't turn. I even tried to put the baby in the front but it didn't make it any easier. I was always putting a lot of stress on the frame since I had to lean on it with my body to get it to turn corners. The only thing I really loved about it was the seats. My boys love to sleep in the stroller and I could take the front toddler bars off and recline all 3 seats!

I bought the stroller in February and sold it last week. It just wasn't what I wanted, plus I was worried that I'd snap the frame and end up with no stroller and no money to buy another!

I've since ordered a Valco (which should be coming this weekend!) and toddler seat. I like the option of taking the seat off and still having the double when one of them gets too independant. It's expensive, but worth it from what I hear. Plus the re-sale is fantastic so in the end after selling my other strollers it's not costing me that much.

I also considered the triple jogger, but it's wider than the sidewalks in my area! LOL

Go for the Valco Twin Runabout with the Toddler seat you attach. Each seat holds up to 45lbs. I have a 4.5 year old and my twins are 1.5 years old. I can put all of them in the stroller, push it with one hand (yes, it is that easy to push and control) AND pull a loaded grocery cart through the store. Need I say more? It is an awesome awesome incredible stroller, especially since it allows me to do what I want to do and go where i want to go all by myself!
