I have been having a lot of contractions and cramping the last few days, some have been really intense. I thought Baby A had flipped last night because of how the head was positioned, but no. I woke up around 2am with a migraine, took my two Tylenol w/Codeine and after they kicked in went back to bed. The headache though was really bad. So I tried to sleep, I was so uncomfortable even the pillow between the legs got thrown off the bed, my poor Dh. I woke up numerous times and finally got up around 8:30. I felt like I had to go to the bathroom, really crampy but couldn't and then felt like I was going to throw up. I was getting really bad cramping and my back was hurting really bad. The nausea was getting worse and I had to stay by the toilet. I asked my DH to call L&D because I was so uncomfortable. There was really very little time between the contractions. After confirming it probably wasn't from the Tylenol, they said I should come in and be checked. So we ran through the shower, threw the bags in the truck and headed to the hospital. I was having contractions no more than 10 minutes apart the whole way still. When we got there we got hooked up and I was having some doozy contractions. The babies seemed to be holding up fine. So the contractions weren't really taking my breath away too often anymore, they were just really uncomfortable at this point. The dr checked my cervix and it was still closed. He said that I could be a little dehydrated, BH and just starting labor. So they sent me home with directions to drink a ton, and call if the contractions really intensify again. So now we are playing the wait and see game. I still feel really nauseaus, I have only been able to eat a toast and cheese sandwich and drink cranberry juice so far today. We are supposed to go to my dad's later so we will see how that goes. Thanks for reading my long morning story.

Ooooo, I bet you're close! I've had so many friends that have had all that soon before delivering. (Can't believe I'm jealous of nausea & back pain! I wanna be close!) Good luck!!

Well I hope the next time you schlep down to L&D you get those babies…. And I can’t think of anything worse than nausea nine months prego with twins… I can’t think it physically possible to throw up with this tummy…

Just remember I am here just as uncomfortable ready to perform my own c-section :hug99: …

I hope you feel better soon! Just another sign those babies are gearing up. They'll be here before you know it!

You have to be close! I am sorry you feel so awful. Just so you know, I was nauseous and felt sick for three or four days prior to going into labor. I was glad in the end, because if I would have been eating whatever I wanted it could have made my labor really unpleasant! I am thinking of you, Lisa :)

You are close too. This is the first true indication of progression for me, you aren't far behind. It is funny isn't it to want to feel this just to get past it.

I hope so too, and believe me it is not fun. I haven't luckily actually thrown up more than the occassional tooth brush gagging I can't imagine full blown.

We are all in this together. It will be fun to compare stories and share pictures!!!
