Tray on a side by side stroller...necessary??

I have the Graco DuoRider side by side but haven't opened it yet. I'm wondering if I should exchange it for one that has a tray for the kids. Do you think I need that feature?

We use ours because it is there (we have the Combi). BUT, I don't think that it is really necessary. Our kids use their Snack Trap for snacks in the stroller sometimes, and that is just as handy. It is nice to have a place for their cups, but even then, half the time they are holding the cups or throwing them.

 

I, like Kate, have the Combi and LOVE the tray!!!! Ours just poured their stuff out of the snack traps, so I use the cup holders for snacks I say YES....it's necessary (in my world)!

 

Trays are really handy for all manner of things - PLUS if you find that you don't need them, they are removable. HTH

 

I too have the Combi with the tray, and LOVE it! I would say a must! My kids love to sit up and hold the bar/tray while riding. They have snacks in there to get through the malls or long rides, and I think that it is wonderful. SOmetimes that is their supper try if we go somewhere and don't have boosters.

 

I have the Maclaren Twin Traveller. I do love that stroller but I hate the fact that it doesn't have the trays. I wish it had the trays.
