So we may have the opportunity during the next year to make a couple of road trips and I have been searching for options for a travel high chair/booster seat. I need something that is very compact and doesn't take up a lot of space along with strollers, bags, and all of the gear one needs for twins during their second year :)

I found this seat on amazon:
    http://www.amazon.com/My-Little-Seat-Travel-Months/dp/B002AKRJ4I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1265163224&sr=8-1

It looks great as far as saving space for packing purposes, but has anyone ever use this or anything else similar? Just need some advice for those who have had the same problem.....

a friend has these and likes them.

I have some like what you showed, but they don't boost the kid up higher... and then they are sitting too low to really eat very easily.

    good luck.

We have two of these (they live at Grandma's house)

    http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Healthy-Care-Booster-Seat/dp/B000WU3DVG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1265206680&sr=1-2

They have a (small) tray that can be used before they're really ready for the table, and will work as a booster seat later. They're not terribly compact, but they're not huge either (they fit into approximately 12x12x6 box.) We love them. The only thing, is make sure when kiddo is in them, they can't reach things with their feet - especially with higher chairs (we used them on my MILs bar height chairs) they can tip the whole chair+booster backwards!

These are exactly what we have, and I really like them. Like the PP said, they're not super compact, but they're very light and easy to clean; the tray goes right into the dishwasher.

We have 2 of these. We'll be doing a LOT of traveling in the next two weeks. I got ours on Amazon though. My kids LOVE them and they seem nice and sturdy. Here's a pic of them in them:

If you don't mind me asking, how big are your babies? I read some of the reviews on this seat and size tended to be a big factor in using it. As kids got close to the 30 lb. mark, the seat started not working well in holding their weight. Mine turn 1 in a week and one is already over 24 lbs. and the other is getting close to 22 lbs. In a few months, I'm just concerned that my little chunky monkeys will quickly make the seat not useable. Thanks!
