Awhile back I bought travel blow up beds for the boys with sides- it looks like a boat honestly. Currently the boys sleep in cribs converted to toddler beds. We are going out of town in a few weeks and I as wondering if we should test run the travel beds at home before we go on our little vacation? I'm a little concerned about how they will sleep in a more "open" environment. Thoughts or suggestions would be great.

I don't know about the blow up travel beds. Maybe someone else can give you specific advice on those. We always took 2 PNP's and they did just fine. Best of Luck with your travels. Have fun!

ya- PNP are out of the questions. They are way to big for them now.
    Thanks

we just had pnps at a hotel this weekend - the kids are 37" long and still barely fit! usually ours don't sleep all stretched out anyway.

as for yours, I would think that at least trying out them at naptime would be good, so that they aren't thinking its all a toy when you blow them up for real and all they want to do is play when its bedtime. good luck!

I would suggest trying them out. We bought ones that look like cots, and we tried them out for 2 nights before we went to the beach. They did okay the first night, and horrible the second night! However, at the beach they were so exhausted they fell right to sleep and slept great all night ;) We're using them again this summer, 3 nights in a hotel and 1 night at my parents place, and then we're camping for 2 weeks before 3 nights back in hotels. I'm hoping they'll be so sleepy they'll sleep great again ;)

Fyi I my boys are 39 inches and sleep like they are laying on the "beach" mostly- haha So that is why I'm thinking PNP are not going to work- though I may have them there for back up.
