So has anyone got any new toys lately that they love? I was just looking online and there is some cool toys for 12+!! ;)

My girls love the leapfrog activity table, their piano, links, and anything that plays music! They LOVE to dance!

My girls also love that activity table and blocks and this cookie jar that you put shapes into. When I was out of town last week my mom took them to Toys R Us and got them a bunch of new things. They have a little telephone that you can pull behind you that they love, a little xylephone, but their new favorite things are books. If I get a book out and hold it up they both crawl over to me as fast as they can and sit to listen. I don't know where they get that from, I'm not a big reader, but my girls LOVE books all of a sudden.

I am also in the process of revamping our toy supply. I just got them this ball pit, and its a huge hit!! We bought some of the Fisher Price Little People that they love to play with. They also love cardboard boxes, buckets, cell phones, remotes, and newspaper! I can't wait to see what everyone else's LO's are into!

we have recently gotten a ring stacker, shape sorter and a little tunnel they can crawl through and play with toys on the side of it. We really need more though! Great post, Cohlee!

I think sing along stage looks fun! The little people stuff looks cute too and I was looking at those sit-on or ride-on toys, there's a lion, a pony, something else.

The ball pits look fun too but arent they pretty big?

We all need to start thinking of birthday gift ideas too!! Oh goodness!!!

I dont read to my girls either! There are plenty enough other people that read to them. I love reading too but getting them to sit still is a task in itself!

It's big enough for them both to play in it with room to grow, but its not HUGE. And it folds up into a small, flat circle about 15" in diameter.

I was also looking at the ride on toys, and I just ordered the girls this Tunnel for their birthday yesterday. The playhut stuff is so cool because it folds down really small and doesn't take up a ton of room when you are not using it.

For the boys one year birthday we got them those walk behind/ride on Winnie the Pooh cars. So if you are looking for something they can grow into, that is a nice idea too. The can pull up behind them and take a few steps when they are ready. Plus it makes lots of sounds (which might not a be a plus) but it keeps them entertained and they still ride on them now.

I just purchased the 2 -in 1 learning kitchen Fisher Price for ages 6 months - 36 months and they love it. Lots of music sounds, etc. I know two other twin moms who have the Fisherprice doorway and it gets so much use as well.

I've heard the "older toys" with less bells and whistles encourage more creativity ... so those beads on a wire -- stacking rings, sometimes you can buy a table with beads, etc. on it. So things they can climb up to seem to be the winners at this stage.

    A tambourine, music making toys.

A laundry basket, two shallow boxes, a ball in a kitchen container, a funnel from your kitchen, your measuring cups maybe, a plastic bowl from your kitchen with toys in it for them to pull out. Balls put into a bowl. Hang toys from furniture that they can reach. Put toys stacked up for them to knock over. A stuffed animal in the bumbo chair. They really seem to enjoy to empty out things at this stage.

I love that crawl through toy, that is so cute. Mine loved stuffed animals. Luke will sit there and talk to his stuffed doggie. They love to play with books, their music turtle, and anything else that makes noise!

The laugh n learn kitchen is big at our house but mostly anything that is not a toy and/or just barely in reach. Kleenex boxes, magazines, the sunday ads, towels/bibs on tables. Both of our LOVE to sit in the infant-to-toddler seat. I am thinking of getting a little table and chairs.

Did you set up a cupboard for them yet? Our 2 LOVE the bin with lids for food storage items.

They seem to "relove" toys is they are put in/under things so I stuff eveything into little spots to hide them.

I can't wait until they can do puzzles and such!

If you can find one, the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn House is a huge hit with this age group. Everyone loved it on FY the last couple of years and I got one for Dax for his 1st birthday and he still plays with it everyday. I got ours for $20 at our local twins club sale so it was a good deal.
