Toys for 18-24 months

I recently got my girls the Weeble Treehouse and they love it! It's so great to watch them sit together and really PLAY. Like kids.....no more babies. Which is a little bittersweet, but I must go with the flow. I'm just not sure what other things like that they'll enjoy. My husband ordered them a slide; they have a big bedroom, so we set it up in the middle of their room when it's too hot out. But I wanted more "toy" type things like the Treehouse that really hold their attention.

So with that, what are some of your kids' favorite toys and what are their ages?

 

My neices (both just over 2) love all the Little People stuff, they both also like little teasets, their kitchen, and dolls with strollers.

 

Their toy kitchen (we have the Little Tikes Cook 'n Grille)
kitchen accessories (dishes, food, etc.)
dolls, and doll accessories
Mr. Potato Head (they got these at age 2, but they LOVE them)
wood puzzles
crayons

 

My girl loves her baby and stroller. (i tried to get my boy to like, but no chance!?)
They love grocery carts with pretend food.
Thomas the Train...any kind of trains.
Play Dough pieces.
Magna-doodle (sp?)
Balls, balls, and more balls.

Play food/kitchen (and a laundry basket full of random tupperware) was the biggest hit at this stage for us.

I'm copying your list and making it my own.....if you don't mind, of course. This is great! I really have no clue when it comes to their toys.

 

Lastly, I forgot to mention, for those of you have toddler girls. This has been a BIG HIT and would highly recommend to buy them. It is by Fisher-Price Snap N' Style. I brought 1 doll and several snap clothes. I will be giving her the doll that came w/snap clothes for birthday and then the rest of the snap clothes collection will be for her xmas gift.

Shop online: Fisher-Price (directly), Amazon (the dresser/mirror only), and TRU. I got all of them for under $100 dollars!
