Hi, everyone! My girls are 16 months old and I feel as if they have outgrown a lot of their toys. If anyone has any recommendations, I would really appreciate it. It would be great to know if your kids have some "favorites" as far as activities or toys go. Thanks so much for any advice or suggestions!

Favorite toys around here today are:
-This baby cradle that is a cradle/stroller - they put their lovies in it and wheel it around the house.
    -Anything with water
-books - especially books that you have to lift a flap to see what's behind it or musical books.

My boys love the MegaBlocks big "lego" blocks. They also love their play kitchen and tent. I second the Little People stuff. They have the airplane, school bus and farm. Their favorite books are ones with real pictures in them. They are loving farm animals right now.

In general I get my kids toys that last up to 4 yrs of age. Here are our hits...

    FP Learning Home
    FP Noah's Ark Set
    Little Tikes Shopping Cart
    Megablocks with wagon
    Books from the dollar store
    Big Ball to play with
Beach ball or blow up thing..my 2 like the blow up dice from the party store
Buy ball pit balls at Walmart and toss them in the pack n play!
    Leap Frog Bus
My 2 are younger than yours but have been coloring for a month now (not great but they enjoy it!)
Balloons from dollar tree... they last for months if you take the ribbon and tie it really tight around the base of the balloon after they blow them up.
Basket full of all the teether or little toys you think they outgrew.. they love picking through them still
Gift bags... Rose loves to transfer toys between them

I hope this isn't a repeat... my girls love to play with their 50s diner with play food, block- big and small, shape sorter, strollers, cozy coupes, play cube with slide, crayons/paints/side walk chalk/playdoh, puzzles (but only recently), and books-lots and lots of books!
