Hello, I recently moved to Toronto and was wondering if there are any other twin mums in toronto that could tell me fun things to do here.
Hello, I recently moved to Toronto and was wondering if there are any other twin mums in toronto that could tell me fun things to do here.
I'm from Guelph, originally (near Toronto) - whereabouts are you? What kind of activities are you looking for?
I'm from Oshawa. It is about 45 minutes away. I hate it and I can't offer you any advice, just tell you that I am close to you.
Hi there. I am from Guelph too - about 45 min from TO. There are lots of cool things to do in Toronto. What kind of stuff are you interested in? Hey Bex - are you a member of the GWMB club? Tammy
We actually live in Brampton, which is very near Toronto, but more people know of Toronto. I was looking for all sorts of stuff. Things to do with the boys as they get older, things to do with DH, things to do with my sister.
I'm in Brampton!!! I haven't been out and about much with my twins as I think they are too young yet for playgroups etc and I don't have a car during the day anyway. If you do a search for Brampton on google and go to the city of brampton website, it should give you info on all kinds of services, recreation centres etc where you could find some things to do. I'm not overly familiar with Toronto, but there are lots of theatres, museums, restaurants, clubs etc in the city itself. It all depends on what you like to do. Have you joined the twin club yet?
I'm in Welland (my grandma is in Guelph) I'm thinking about doing a second Southern Ontario Twinstuff Gathering. I hope you guys will considering comming! (It'll probably be in May/June sometime)
Hey, I have family in Guelph (sp?) Doug & Debbie House is thier name. What are the chances you know them?He works for the school in town. We go up there every year but missed this one because my wife gave birth to our twins...I love the Alexander Keiths beer that we get up there...if we drive..I always bring some back. I also enjoy watching the local hockey team that Guelph has. We are in the Chicago burbs....like what Guelph is of Toronto.
How funny - all these Guelph connections! I grew up in Guelph but went away for university (Trent, in Peterborough Ontario) and now live just outside Halifax, NS. My parents still live there, so we're usually back for a visit at least once a year.
hi, welcome to the city! i'm in toronto and there's lots of great things about this place. my boys are 8 months and i haven't been able to do much with them except take them out for walks - parks, malls, etc. but when the weather gets really cold, i'll take them to art galleries - AGO and McMichael - and ROM (museum). i guess it'll be more for me to get out than for them. if you're into films, several movie theatres, possibly one in brampton, offer mommy and me movies or "stars and strollers." i can go on and on. feel free to PM me.
I'm not from Toronto either but I just wanted to say hello to all of you who are so close. We live in St.Catharines!! its nice to see I have some many twin moms so close!
