So, I've been gone forever - crazy busy at work the last couple months. The babies have gotten huge! And Jack sprouted 3 teeth in the space of a week. So, what are my tooth obligations? I have a baby toothbrush and I know that in theory I should be brushing his teeth. They still get a bottle right before bed though, so I am reluctant to start getting him worked up by brushing his teeth after that. Any suggestions? I think I know the answer, but am hopeful one of you have a secret!

Our pediatrician suggested we just wipe them with a rag at bath time.

I bought the little gerber rubber tooth & gum fingerbrush. It comes with the infant tooth & gum cleanser. ( Gerber Grins & Giggles).
My boys love it & it gets them used to have their teeth cleaned in a fun way. Hope this helps!

We try to do it each day, but I'm still not very good at remembering. We definitely get them at each bath time which is every other day though. We use the little finger toothbrush.

Do you do it before or after the last bottle? That's my struggle - I don't want to mess with him after his bedtime bottle.

I guess it's time to start weaning away from going to sleep with a bottle.....

I brush my girls teeth but only with water - I haven't used the baby toothpaste yet. I do it as they are getting in the bath tub (or when I change them for bed on days they don't get a bath). It's after dinner but before the last bottle - and I forget probably as often as I remember to do it.

Early on...with a finger brush after dinner but before last bf or bottle. After one year, started using a baby toothbrush with the baby gel paste stuff and every night after dinner (no more bottles or sippies after dinner).
