Took the twins out

Probably not a big deal for all you pros, but I am so proud of myself. The twins are 11 weeks old today, and I took them out by myself for the first time. We drove about 25 miles and had lunch with my mom (Mmmmm - mexican food), then came back home. It wasn't nearly as intimidating as I thought it would be. I think I might chance a trip to the mall later this week!

you're braver than i was at 2 months! i took them out by myself once at that age because they had ultrasounds to make sure they didn't have pyloric stenosis. it went well but i was a nervous wreck about the "what-ifs" the whole time. good for you for trying it out and having a good time!

Excellent! It's a nice feeling of accomplishment, isn't it? Keep it up & you'll start feeling more comfortable each time. My twins just hit the 3 month mark & we get out a fair share of the time---mostly since I try & keep my daughters (4 & 7 yrs.) busy too. It wouldn't be fair to my girls to stay home all summer just b/c I was too nervous to venture out with the babies by myself. With the right preparation we've had several successful days out of the house. Keep it up....and be proud of your self!!!

I wanted to post an update and say that I did indeed go to the mall today... just me and the twins. I guess I really needed to get out, as we spent the entire afternoon there (5 hours!). We walked, shopped, sat on the bench for a feeding, then shopped some more... it was a fun day :yahoo: !

WOOHOO!! Taking the twins out for the first time alone is fantastic, I remember the first time I did it myself and still look back at that moment with pride. Good for you Momma!!!
