too young for the beginning of teething?

Hi girls, my boy/girl twins are 15 weeks actual/9weeks adjusted. They have both recently started drooling a bit and the girl is also chewing on her hands sometimes..I don't think she's hungry b/c she will do this right after drinking an entire bottle. She is also a little fussier than usual. Could this be the beginnings of teething at such a young age?

 

They start drooling a lot once they can put their hands in their mouths. They aren't sucking on them because they are hungry, its just something they learned to do!

 

My boys got teeth between 3 and 4 months, so it is entirely possible they are getting teeth. I think that's pretty early, but it still happens.

 

Could be what emilyshremily said - my 4mth olds are CONSTANTLY drooling - and it could be teeth. My 3rd child got two teeth at 4mths of age......

 

It could be the beginning of the teething process. Some babies get teeth really early and sometimes the process itself takes several months.

 

My boys are 16weeks/12 weeks adjusted. They are doing the same thing and I think it's because they discovered their hands.

 

My girls are also doing the same thing and we wondered if it could be teething too. So much so that last night I dreamed that they had both sprouted a few teeth! I guess only time will tell!

 

Never too early, I was BORN with my 4 bottom teeth… my mom said it was the funniest looking thing you saw on a new born…
