Hi, Our babies are sleeping ok considering how hot it is over here. It's now 29degree's in there room, with an air cooler and fan on them but i am really worried about them overheating in there grobags. They are always really clammy when i get them up. Any tips on keeping them cooler? I am reluctant to remove there sleepsacks as i'm not sure they would be able to sleep without it? Does anyone's babbas sleep without when it's too hot?
I live in Florida and when it started getting hot I stopped using the sleep sacks. They are fin eowthout them and in fact I think they liked it better without. They can move around alot more. I found some onsie and pants sets at BRU and they sleep in those ( no socks ). They are somewhat like PJ's. During the day I crank the ac down for thier naps and at bedtime.
I always kept mine in the sleep sacks but during the summer they'd wear only a diaper and then the sleep sacks.
In the summer, we put ours in pajamas that are shorts and a short-sleeve shirt. We never really did sleep sacks though. Long pjs (long sleeves and long pants, no socks) in the fall/spring, footed sleepers in the winter, short pjs in the summer.
Thanx ladies! Well i have just put them down and being as it has now gone up to 30degree's in there room i was brave and they are sleepsack-less, just wearing a romper suit! They have gone off like normal yay, i'm just hoping they feel safe and secure enough to settle when they wake later. I would of put them in a nappy in the sleepsack but we still feed them through the night so need them to be wearing something..for burping purposes. The do have there little bunny's for support so i'm hoping they will get a good nights sleep and not wake up all clammy. Can't you tell i'm in the UK, so not used toall this hot weather!!! Thanx again!
We've bought a "sheet only" sleepsack from JoJo which is for rooms that are 25 degrees plus ... works for us. DS sleeps in a vest, his sheet sack, and has a fan on in his room. I figured that it's hot enough here often enough for it to be worth it, and as he's bigger now and the size is 18 months to 4 years it was worth getting. GL

GL Yeah that does sound like a good investment for you! It's not often that hot here so i'm not sure it would be worthwhile for us? They slept well last night in there rompers and i relaxed knowing they weren't going to overheat on me!! Amber woke up at 4.20am with her leg dangling out of her cotbed, laid head down giggling  it was so funny!!
When mine were 6 months that was a June over here in FL. It was very hot. I had them out of a sleep sack. They were either in short sleeves and pants or shorts with no blankets. We keep our house 78 degrees and they have a ceiling fan in their room.

Thanx, i think this is what we will do while we have the warm weather. I don't know how you cope in Florida with extreme heat, i would melt lol
Lol i know mine are lot older but jack has taken to sleeping naked! He is such a sweaty boy and when he was sleeping in his pyjamas i was picking him up to go to the toilet he was actually ringing wet! So he either wears short sleeve t-shirts pjamas or gets his naked on! P.S i cant be doing with this heat either! I am going to suffer wehn i go to Cyprus lol x
We keep our house around 77 degrees. My babies have been sleeping in cotton sleepers and it seems to be the right amount of warmth. They aren't too hot or too cold. We also use a ceiling fan.
