Tomorrow is the day!

Just thought I would let you guys know that I go in tomorrow for my c-section. I can't believe that it is here...I remember thinking not very long ago that this time seemed too far off. Wow! :woohoo: Tomorrow (9/4) is the day! I must admit that I am nervous...happy and excited...but nervous. I don't want to leave my kids, I've only left them for one day on only two occasions in the past four years...I'm so attached to them! They'll be fine, my Mother is going to be here today to stay with them/us for the next two to three weeks. Tomorrow I will drop them to preschool in the morning, go back home to load up the car and hopefully my husband will be home (he has to work in the AM He is a rancher and animals always need tending and he is shipping a load of lambs to Canada) and ready to check into the hospital at 10:30 AM. My Mother will then pick the kids up from preschool, have lunch and then visit us and the new baby later in the afternoon. That is our plan anyway. I hope going to school is the right thing for the kids? I'm thinking it will keep them distracted and from worrying about me.

Today, I'm puttering around the house getting some last minute things done and finding more to do. I for some reason decided to clean up Andrew and Emily's huge car seats...oh why did I take them apart??? Now, I have to clean up those sticky bases and I wasn't anticipating they would be so dirty under the car seat covers...yuck!! I still have some last minute items to put in my overnight bag and I want to call the hospital and see if I can bring along my breast pump I just purchased (I need to wash that up too.) I've heard that some hospitals won't allow you to bring your own pump for sanitary reasons...so I want to double check and see if that is true for our hospital. Also...maybe with a singleton pumping isn't as necessary right away...I'm not sure? At any rate, I'm working at making sure all is set and ready for delivery and the new baby.

I hope everything goes well and I think sending the twins to preschool was a good idea. It'll help their day go by faster.
