Tomorrow is my scheduled c-section. My surgery is scheduled for noon. I am really getting nervous now. The surgery part doesn't scare me. I've had 3 c-sections before and know what to expect. The after part is what makes me nervous. My hospital doesn't have a nursery so the babies will be with me the entire time. Recovering from surgery and taking care of two newborns makes me nervous.

I also got sad last night thinking about how it was the last night my family would be a family of 5 and how my youngest would no longer be the baby. I'm trying to take this one step at a time and even though my mom is going to be coming over everyday after the babies come home, I am still overwhelmed by the fact that I'm going to have a 7 year old and 4 children under the age of 4!

So I guess reality is finally settling in and I am feeling overwhelmed and scared and sad and anxious to meet my new little ones all at the same time!

Just getting this out there makes me feel a little better. I guess I have to remember "one day at a time" and even "one minute at a time."

Good luck tomorrow. I am surprised there is no nursery. How do they expect you to get out of bed right after a c-section. Will somebody be staying with you? Congrats on making it so far in your pregnancy :D

I had the exact same thoughts last night, our last night as a family of 4 .. how was Kailyn (my baby.. yet she's 5) really going to deal w this. Having two babies to take care of, will I EVER sleep again. Hoping that they'll really be ok and healthy.

We'll get through it somehow, but I agree it's terrifying! I'm waiting for the hospital to call me to induce me today. While I want them to call.. I have to say that I'm ok if they don't ;) such mixed feelings.

Good luck on the big day tomorrow! I know how scary the thought is of all the sudden having your family grow so much. We'll be going from 4-6 and my youngest is almost 5, so its going to be quite an adjustment. You can do it and i cant wait to hear your birth story!
