    Has anyone seen this?

Does anyone have it? What do you think?

We are thinking about getting it for DS and wanted to hear some opinions on it. It seems to have pretty good reviews.

I saw this at a M2M sale and thought HMMM maybe they would like this and how cool is it that it flushes. Then I thought Hmm it still has to be emptied and I'm sure it going to make a bigger mess then a actual potty chair b/c of the extra pieces.

In actuality they still have to sit down to learn to go poo-poo on the potty so I didn't want this extra piece in the bathroom. I bought them a stool so if they want to stand and go potty they can.

I passed on this thing. good luck!

I'd be scared my daughter would want to try it! If you get it, let us know how it works for you.

Both of my closest friends have this. We discovered it when my one friend was potty training her 3rd boy a 3 years ago and was having problems. He loved it. Her littlest one was potty trained by 2 because he was so excited to start using this like his older brother.

My other friend has this because her older son has down syndrome and he had trouble learning to point in a regular potty, but he wanted to stand...she loved it too. She used it with her 3 year old also. She just recently asked me if I wanted it for Camden, but he has been doing so well...and I was also afraid Bella would want to use it and she has been potty trained for 3 months.

So I figured I didn't need something else in my bathroom.

Okay..in one day...I changed my mind and I am borrowing the peter potty from my friend. Her boys are done with it. Camden is peeing all over the bathroom floor because he wants to stand and just cannot get a good aim every time, or he forgets to lift his shirt enough, or he forgets to put up the toilet seat.

I have wiped my bathroom floor 3 times today. The problem is..he is doing well and not telling us when he has to go..so he goes in and goes himself and gets pee everywhere.

I am getting the peter potty for him.

I haven't gotten it yet. Let me know how it goes for you. Hopefully your DD will leave it alone. ;)

We got it yesterday and Camden loves it. I haven't had to clean the floor since we got it!!! He is able to stand and easily aim into the Peter Potty.

    It is really cute.

Bella hasn't bothered it at all. She was curious at first and we just told her it was for boys since they stand to pee...she will sometimes watch Cam go out of curiousity.

I have not put the water in the top...I figured that would just be everywhere and they would want be in the bathroom constantly flushing it.

We also have it and the boys loved it when it first came home, we have gotten into the habit of using it right before bath time. They are still alittle young, but definetly got the concept right away, which i love!

That's great!! I think we will pick one up next week when we go to Wal-Mart.

I'm glad (for your sake) that Bella is leaving it alone.

So, you don't need to put the water in the top?

No, they have the option of putting water in the top so your kids can press the button and water comes down and "flushes" like a regular urinal. There is a little drawer that catches the pee, I empty that every time and wipe it out anyway, so I figured I didn't need to have them getting into water. They would just want to stand in there and play with it all the time.
