Toddler Beds...

Hayden and destiny just turned 2..and i moved them into toddler beds so that i could use their cribs for caihlen and serenity. They are sleeping in them just fine, jsut a few nights they get up and are in bed with each other....

is this normal with twins?? should i put a stop to it now???

 

I would not worry about it. My two were sharing a bed at two. It was the first time Ian slept through the night with out waking me up. I was thrilled. It is a comfort thing. They will eventually grow out of it. And if it helps them sleep through the night and stay in bed=more or less. I would let it go.

 

Sounds like it was a pretty good transition! Yay. Hope it continues in a positive manner for you.

 

I would not worry about it. Somenights while were tucking them in they want to sleeping in the same bed and we allow it. not a big deal here.

 

Thanks!!!! So far a very good transition...I just kind of made a huge deal out of it so they think the are hot stuff with their new beds. Lol....Told them that big brothers and sisters had special beds, and babies had specials beds etc....and they had a field day when i put the beds together...(now just got to get the cribs bk together)

I was just worried that they might get too used to sleeping together like that and when i have to seperate them into different rooms they might not understand or adapt well to that.

 

Better they get into bed with each other and NOT YOU!

Eventually they MIGHT start getting up and coming out of the room etc., so be prepared for some shenanigans!
