There is ONE little baby this time. Heart rate looks good at 173 and the U/S shows that I am 9w4d. My next U/S will be on the 24th for the 1st trimester screening.

In other news, the Dr noticed a mass on the upper portion of my uterus. He said that it was large and he doesn't think that a fibroid would grow that much in 2 years (had a c sec in 05 so we know that things were good then)

I'm doing my best to just be happy and not think about it, but I really can't help but think about it.

Congrats on a great u/s! Sorry to hear about the mass they found. Will they do any further testing to determine what it is?

I haven't talked to my OB yet. The OB who did the U/S is someone that I chose over going to hospital radiology because he has a LOT of experience and he did 95% of my U/S's with the twins. But I know that my OB hasn't received the report yet.

Congratulations on just one! You would be amazed how quickly scarring can build up, even in two and a half short years!

Congrats on the baby and ultrasound! As for the mass, my dr. noticed a "mass" during a u/s at about 14 weeks. At that point she wasn't sure if it was a fibroid. I had another u/s about 2 weeks later...and it was gone. Turns out that it was actually my uterus having a little contraction and we just happened to catch it in the u/s. Hopefully yours is the same, but I know it's impossible not to worry!

Congrats on having one healthy baby in there!!

Please don't worry about the findings until they tell you to worry. When I was pregnant with Peyton they told me I had a fibroid on my uterus right next to where the cord was implanted. They were worried it would interfere with the cord. Needless to say, when she was born, there anything AT ALL there. So, not sure what they saw, but when they went in for the section, there was nothing there.
