Today's appointment

So I was supposed to have an OB appointment/NST today but when I got there they told me the machine for twins is broken so I had a BPP instead. The babies have each gained 1 pound since last Monday, they are up to about 5 pounds each now!!!!! I knew they were having a growth spurt because I have been extra hungry and hormonal this past week, but to gain a pound in less than 2 weeks?!?
Also, more good news is that I also gained 2 pounds, so I'm hoping that means the 2 pounds I gained was just baby! Both babies are still doing great and my cervix is at 3.25 now (down from 3.3 so it's no big deal) so it's still looking good for going to 38 weeks!
From here on out I'll be going for weekly BPP's or NST's if they get a new machine!

WOW, they are measuring big. WTG mommy!!!! My twins were born at 34 weeks and they were 3#14oz and 4#8oz...so you are really cookin' them!

 

Keep cookin!!! Mine were lower 6lbs range at 34 weeks, and all estimates turned out to be correct. They were both born in the upper 7lbs range at 38 weeks! I hope the estimates are right on, that would extra great!

mine are gaining over a lb every 2 weeks..last week at 35w+ they were each over 6lbs..lol So i know where your coming from..if they keep this up when I deliver them they could be close to 8lbs each..ack..

Just remember u/s are just estimates, nothing is set in stone...

WOW!!! You are a great cook...good sizes!!! I am impressed. That is my goal to cook my babies up over 5 lbs each. I am at 30 weeks and they are just under 3 lbs each...so I have some serious gaining to do. I cooked my son up to 8lbs 2oz when he was born, so I am hoping to try that again....Maybe just a tad smaller though.LOL
