Today's Appointment...

A Boy!!! :banana:


And...


A mystery!!!


Baby A (Darling little Spot) still doesn't want to show us the goods (bashful maybe?) but Baby B (Dot) had no problems showing us this week. Very clearly a boy.

I'm so excited!! Mostly just to know. We really didn't/don't care about gender, but it was driving me mad not knowing! At least I know one and can start buying some little boy things now.

I go back in two weeks (Aug 8 ) for the big fetal scan. Hopefully Spot will be less bashful that go 'round?


Other than that, things are going well. This was the first time they measured differently. Spot is 7oz and Dot is 8oz, but the doctor said he's very pleased with both. Heads and bellies measured good too.

I had a kidney stone (ouch! That was NOT fun!) last wekk so they looked at my kidney's. Looks like there is one more (tiny) stone left that I may pass at some point. But they've got me on a round of antibiotics to clear up any infection (UTI mainly) that can be caused by stones.

Everything is looking good!

Congrats on the boy!!!! That should be fun on your next appt. That baby is going to keep your life exciting!!!!!

 

Maybe its a girl then! At my 20 week u/s she wouldn't show her good either, she was all curled up... so I went back 4 weeks later and they did another u/s and she was still curled up, but after rolling my belly around and making her mad, she finally showed us!

I love Spot and Dot too! Mine are lefty and righty at this point!

 

Congratulations! We had the same issue with our's, but when we went back for another u/s, we discovered it was a boy. Who knows! One of each would be terrific!

drink some oj before your next u/s...the tech might go nuts trying to get measurements...but you'll get them to move around enough so that the goods are nicely displayed!! It's worked for me every time!

 

Congrats on the boy!! Baby A showed his goods right off the bat, but Baby B held off for about 15 minutes...and that drove me nuts! Can't imagine what you're going through with wondering!! Good luck!
