I had an ultrasound, OB appointment and my glucose test today. We found out at the ultrasound that now both babies are breech. Not what I wanted to hear, but something I kind of expected. I swear I knew exactly when that baby flipped. Currently Baby A is measuring 27w 2d at 2 lb 6 oz, and Baby B is measuring 27w 3d at 2 lb 10 oz. Seems odd to me that a 4 oz difference is just one day, but whatever.

My doctor told me today that he no longer stops preterm labor once you hit 34 weeks. The hospital I want to deliver at can take me at 35 weeks, so that would be just about perfect. I told my doctor today that I'm delivering on July 9th (the longest he'll let me go). I told him that it may not be realistic, but that's the date I'm really hoping for so that I have big healthy babies. :)

I also failed my glucose test, so I have to take the 3 hour test next week. I have to start fasting at 10p the night before and my test will start at 8:30a. That means no eating for me, from 10p until at least 11:30a. YUCK! The test this time was MUCH more difficult then when I was pregnant with my son. With my son it was a breeze, today after drinking the "juice" I got shaky, hot and felt lightheaded for about 30 min. afterward. They wanted me to be under 140 and it can back 162.

That was my fun for the day. Everything else looks good.....which is quite the relief.

Sorry to hear about your glucose, hopefully you'll do fine with the 3 hour. Sounds like you have nice healthy babies! :D Good job!

I had that same reaction with both my pgs... I've managed to always pass the test the first time..but only b/c I'm very, very careful... I only have a small piece of toast about an hour and a half 2 hours before the test...just enough so that I'm not passing out... but I've gotten pretty close to passing out while I'm waiting.... and very shaky afterwards, I pack food to eat on the way out to my car!!... In all of my pgs something kind of weird happens with my sugar levels. If I don't eat every 2-3 hours regardless of feeling hungry I can have a very fast sugar plummet....nausea inducing, close to passing out kind of reaction.... it happens throughout my pg starting from around week 8.... I've learned to carry at least gum, preferrably candy with me b/c it happens so fast I can't always predict it. The sugar in the candy, especially if I catch it early enough, is usually enough to tide me over for 20 more minutes until I can get more serious food. Hope you pass your long test.... honestly I think if I fasted that long I'd have to have someone else drive me to the test... I would be scared that I would pass out...

Glad the babies are doing well! My docs were the same about not stopping labor once I hit 34 weeks.

Good luck with the 3 hour test!
